BONES UK in Pittsburgh July 24 Mr. Smalls

BONES UK recently released their full-length album via Sumerian Records – listen here. The band will be playing in Pittsburgh @ Smiling Moose on Wednesday, July 24

The album announced with “Pretty Waste“, celebrated the ‘perfectly imperfect’ with “Filthy Freaks“, shared the ferocious “Choke“, the tranquil “Black Blood“, and the captivating video for “I’m Afraid of Americans“.

On their self-titled debut album, vocalist Rosie Bones and guitarist Carmen Vandenberg confront everything from the beauty industrial complex to toxic masculinity to music-scene sexism, embedding each track with choruses primed for passionate shouting-along. The band has received praise from The FADERNYLONAlternative PressConsequence of SoundKERRANG! and more.

This is Trent Reznor-level cool. BONES is doing the whole damn thing, middle fingers to the sky and in full control of their work. Rock on.”

“An enormous industrial sound, one that hisses and thuds along the lines of Nine Inch Nails… BONES churns ahead with a take-no-prisoners sound.”

– Chicago Tribune

“Poignant… set against an electro-punk backdrop, the track addresses shutting down negativity.”- Alternative Press

“… salty and sexy; blasts of whiskey-cured hellfire blues and frigid industrial grooves, paired in a symbiosis so airtight it could be spelled-out in scientific notation.”
