Fresh from sets at Lollapalooza and HARD Summer, Petit Biscuit adds new dates to his largest North American tour yet today, including Chicago’s The Vic and San Diego’s Observatory North Park, plus two nights each at Santa Ana’s Observatory and Los Angeles’ Fonda Theater. Tickets are on sale to the general public Friday, August 17 at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning Monday, August 13 at 10 a.m. PDT—visit petitbiscuit.fr/presencetour for more information.
The shows—also including stops in Boston, New York, D.C., Nashville and Austin—are Petit Biscuit’s first North American headline tour since the release of his acclaimed debut album Presence.
Presence, which includes singles “Wake Up” featuring Bipolar Sunshine and Cautious Clay, “Problems” featuring Lido and “Waterfall” featuring Panama, has charted worldwide and continues to receive extensive acclaim.
Critical praise for Presence…
“It’s a 14-track collection of smooth, chilled out house perfect for falling in love
or nursing introspective moments into brilliance. It’s emotive and cinematically
intimate, warmed to the bones with soft string melodies and cozy atmospheres…
Expect to see big things from this name in the years to come.”—Billboard

A classically trained musician from a young age, Petit Biscuit—a.k.a. Mehdi Benjelloun—plays piano, guitar, cello and more, and began experimenting with electronics to form his signature sound at age 11. Presence is heavily informed by his schooling, combining acoustic elements with innovative electronic production and his trademark vocal manipulations.
