APRIL 9, 2018 – Dashboard Confessional has shared an official video for “Heart Beat Here,” which appears on the band’s new album Crooked Shadows. Directed by Keith Leman, the official video is streaming now on Fueled By Ramen’s official YouTube channel.
Crooked Shadows – the return of Dashboard Confessional and the band’s first new album in over eight years – is available now at all DSPs and http://www.dashboardconfessional.com. The album features the politically minded rallying anthem “We Fight” which Rolling Stone praised stating, “The powerful song explores the fighting spirit and strength found within a community,” with Consequence of Sound adding, “the motivational anthem encourages listeners to lift each other up in these trying times.”
Recently profiled by The New York Times and Vulture, Dashboard Confessional is currently on their 2018 headlining “We Fight” tour. The cross-country trek, which features special guests Beach Slang and Kississippi, is set to continue through a performance at Los Angeles, California’s Hollywood Palladium on April 21st (see attached itinerary). Furthermore, Dashboard Confessional is set for a headline performance at Nashville, Tennessee’s Ryman Auditorium on May 11th with support to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for all dates are on sale now. For tickets and more information please visit http://www.dashboardconfessional.com.
Produced by Chris Carrabba and Jonathan Clark with co-producer Colin Brittain, Crooked Shadows is the result of a near decade-long period of immense self-examination for Carrabba. Crooked Shadows explores Carrabba’s reclamation of the simple yet extraordinary moments in life that long stood as the unsung heroes of his songwriting, as he reflects on experiences of his own and those closest to him. The result is a deeply cathartic body of work that traverses the complications and vulnerabilities of relationships while scrutinizing the possibility of self-improvement.
