Newport pop-punks, Save Your Breath, have posted a new video for ‘Harrow Road’, taken from their recently released album, ‘There Used To Be A Place For Us’. Speaking about the song’s subject matter and also the video’s concept, bassist Ben Griffiths says, “I loved where I grew up, but moving away from home was very significant for me. I loved the place and my friends, but small towns breed very narrow minded mentalities. I always felt there was a really defeatist attitude that came hand in hand with the failure to leave. I felt like after growing up, that I saw things in a different light and a lot of people I held close were pulled in to the small town cycle and gave up on themselves.”
“The video concept is based around my old house in Newport. The idea is simple, just trying to capture a brief moment in time with the events that happen in one particular place. The memories and relationships people have are what defines a place as important and I know that house was considered to be a home for a lot of my friends.”
