The DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT is currently touring North America with GOJIRA and THE ATLAS MOTH in support of their latest effort, Epicloud, which features the hit single, “Lucky Animals”

Named one of the best metal albums of 2012 by Decibel Magazine, Metal, and countless others, Epicloud can be purchased at iTunes or CM Distro. Read on for a few reviews of the album:

“‘Epicloud’ is huge…Devin Townsend is to music as what Michelangelo was to painting and sculpting.” — ABSOLUTE

“…an exhilarating amalgam of show tunes, metal, gospel, techno, prog, pop, rock and musical genres that only exist in Townsend’s head.” — DECIBEL MAGAZINE

“Devin Townsend continues to excel at being one of the noteworthy prolific musicians in metal today with the excellent ‘Epicloud’.” —

“Devin Townsend’s new album, ‘Epicloud,’ is incredible; it might be Devy’s White Album…It melds a whole lot of different styles into a series of dangerously catchy tunes; a whole lot of the album isn’t metal, but every second of it of is great, and yes, most certainly EPIC.” — METAL

“…a bombastic and catchy record, filled to the brim with some of the best pop metal you will ever find…’Epicloud’ is without a doubt the strongest collection of songs on any Townsend record to date.” — HEAVY BLOG IS

“Although he’s known world-wide for his heavy riffing, there has always been a lot more than just that going on in his music. Listening to ‘Epicloud’s opening tune ‘True North’ you get classical choruses, power-metal layering, Scandinavian folk and frightfully meaty sludge metal slashing.” — VANCOUVER PROVINCE
