Before You is an American pop punk band out of Pittsburgh comprised of Philip Arena, Bret Pusateri, Jason Capela, and Jed Dixon, veterans of the local music scene. As individuals, the band is equipped with music degrees, classical training, and music education backgrounds, as well as regional and national touring experience with previous acts. Their undeniable songwriting chemistry brought them together and solidified in their debut release, ‘Meet Me At Whisper Lake’. The 5-song EP was recorded at Bad Boxes Studios with the help of owner/producer Harrison Wargo and features special guest vocals from fellow Pittsburgh pop-punker Steven Soboslai of Punchline. The self-released album dropped on February 21st, 2012, garnering the band attention in the scene and opening slots for the likes of Anarbor, Conditions, Punchline, Hidden In Plain View, Days Away, Valencia, The Matches, Hellogoodbye, Hawthorne Heights, The Bigger Lights, For The Foxes, and The Scenic.
