His latest release ‘Invisible Sap’ comes out November 20 and is completely different than his first two EP’s ‘Flags’ and ‘Flags:Part II’. “American Dream” opens up with a lot more pop than electronica and sounds like Simon and Garfunkel slept with Coldplay and Tom Petty and it came out pure Americana. The track “Your Song” is by far a favorite on the EP and shows a vulnerability and strength simultaneously with lyrics of visionary exploration and thoughts we all think but rarely express. “Mr. Teleportation” begins with jangly guitars and a driving rhythm that flows incredibly well and shows that Evan has truly taken a classic rock n’ roll rotation from his previous efforts.
