Strange Ranger is going on tour in support of their just-released new album Remembering The Rockets, including a 9/19 date at Mr. Smalls.

Remembering The Rockets, an album reflecting frontman Isaac Eiger’s anxiety about the chaotic and ecologically collapsing world has received universal acclaim for its hypnotic, shimmering sound and a searing sense of intimacy. The songs are apocalyptic yet ultimately full of hope. Pitchfork wrote, “Given the way the ice caps, indie rockers’ economic future, and maybe even human decency itself are all eroding, his hope isn’t just inspiring, it feels downright rebellious.”

“Delicate, miniature hallucinations.” – The Fader
“There’s a hopeful humanity to their music that encourages tenderness and introspection.” – Stereogum

“Cinematic and resonant… Remembering The Rockets is unpredictable and expansive, a thrilling document of a band with an ever-changing muse.” – Noisey
