I Prevail and Issues are back on the road together this summer. The bands will appear at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA on 7/15.
Gold-certified Michigan band I Prevail dropped their 2019 sophomore album Trauma, out March 29 on Fearless Records.
Check out the battering ram “Bow Down” and the impactful earworm “Breaking Down,” which boasts a powerful visual that further connects the band to fans. The band also shared the impactful track and video with “Paranoid.”
Since their 2014 arrival, they set a precedent to catalyze rock’s evolution. The band put up astounding numbers rarely synonymous with the genre or their peers, for that matter. Nearing half-a-billion streams and 115 million YouTube views, they moved over 500,000 albums worldwide, notched three #1 singles on SiriusXM Octane, and played 500-plus shows in just three years. Not to mention, they achieved a gold single in the form of their take on Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” from the Heart Vs. Mind EP.
After taking some time off the road and to work on other things, Issues return with a brilliant and bold banger. Perfecting their signature cocktail of metallic groove, hip-hop phrasing, alternative echoes, and edgy pop appeal, the Atlanta outfit delivers an instantly irresistible anthem in the form of “Tapping Out.” Singer Tyler Carter‘s nimble delivery slips from R&B swagger into hard-hitting heaviness.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to finally release new music,” the band says. “‘Tapping Out’ is not only a highly anticipated drop for us, but lyrically highlights the struggles of trying to make something work time and time again. Eventually, you just want to tap out. Whether it’s in a relationship, with yourself, or even with a band!
