Plague Vendor is coming through town to play at Club Cafe Live on Tuesday, March 26th …these guys were one of the best bands on Warped Tour a few years ago, intense and raw with the energy of Iggy and The Stooges, this is definitely a do not miss show.
Plague Vendor have just announced their sophomore album By Night, which was produced by John Congleton (Sharon Van Etten, St. Vincent.) By Night will be out on June 7 via Epitaph Records. To celebrate, they’ve released the first track off the album with a video directed by Dan Monick. Watch “New Comedown” HERE.
Plague Vendor’s live show has shifted since the release their last album, Bloodsweat (2016). They’ve swapped out shock value for raw vulnerability onstage and the four musicians aim to create the most sound and the most intensity with the least possible utility and equipment. Palpable tension comes from the sense that anything could happen, but mostly Plague Vendor is interested in simplicity and the sort of expressive nakedness that can come from stripping everything away.
