Gang of Four have a new album, Happy Now which comes out March 29, 2019. It’s a pretty sparkling record with Andy Gill’s astounding guitar work front and center.
Heralded by press (their debut album Entertainment! which celebrates its 40th birthday this year was voted on of Pitchfork’s top ten albums of the 70’s and MOJO called it one of the “Records That Changed The World”) and fans alike (among their fans are R.E.M., St. Vincent, James Murphy, Frank Ocean and Pharrell), Gang of Four has been staying strong and very relevant and current.
Their latest EP COMPLICIT featured Ivanka Trump on its cover and was covered by Time, Consequence of Sound, Spin, Rolling Stone… even Raw Story did a story on it!
