AEGER WELLS DEBUTS “WISH I’D KNOWN YOU” (Pittsburgh, PA – October 2018) – Indie-punk act Jaeger Wells has debuted his latest single. With years of writing and releasing music under his belt, Jaeger Wells, now residing in Pittsburgh, has mastered the art of bringing acoustically driven pop storylines to life. Singing about change, strife and personal troubles, Wells tackles serious subject matter with a positive and uplifting attitude, a mindset that seamlessly drifts into his songwriting, with lush pop tones and melodic hooks juxtaposing with an emotive and vulnerable delivery. “Indie-punk perfection.” – Substream Magazine On “Wish I’d Known You”, Wells again partners with The Early November’s Ace Enders, who played bass on 2015 EP ‘Fever Dream Anthology’ a collaboration with Wells and Vic Chan. Enders’ production expertise again shines through on the new single, with Wells adding “His (Enders’) compositions and production ear has always piqued my interests – and I felt that he was someone who could see into my head and hear the same things I was.” “Jaeger Wells has crafted a track that allows his personality and a gorgeous melody to shine through.” – Baeble “Wish I’d Known You” delivers another genre-bending effort with elements of punk shining through alongside an array of pop and rock influences ranging from Motion City Soundtrack to Ed Sheeran. Says Wells on the topic: “My music really falls into the punk rock Neil Diamond category. While it isn’t theatrical like Panic at The Disco! or Say Anything – it still has an unhinged element of grandeur to it.” Wells attributes much of his success to his life journey and the willingness to embrace change and accept hardship; much of his songwriting perspective is an ode to learning and the broadening of one’s horizons.
