Magic Hat Brewing Company has announced plans to pour a special, limited edition American pale ale throughout Pittsburgh, PA, in celebration the 2018 Jam on Walnut concert series. Forever Home is set to add a potable push to the fundraising campaign of Humane Animal Rescue, the beneficiary of the series, as well as the dancing feet of some 5,000 revelers. Jam on Walnut runs through October.
A Beer Worth Closing Streets For
Forever Home is a hazy, slightly tart American pale ale that’s packed with a healthy portion of Centennial, Huell Melon and Lemon Drop hops. Citrus fruit notes of lemon peel, grapefruit and melon dominate the senses before reluctantly giving way to a light resinous character and a smooth wheat background.
The exclusive American pale ale will be pouring at bars on Walnut St and throughout Pittsburgh’s 10 counties over the summer-long series, which takes place one Saturday each month from June to October. In a collaborative effort to raise even more money and awareness for Humane Animal Rescue, local bars will be selling cut-out paws to display in their spaces, with all money raised and proceeds from the Forever Home beer going to the non-profit.
