Indie Rock/Seagaze band from Nyack, NY The Foxfires (RIYL: Wilco, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Built To Spill, and Milo Green)

The Foxfires music is in the likeness of artists such Wilco, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Built To Spill, and Milo Green- a marriage of the ethereal, psychedelic nature of shoegaze, the dancing movement of Indie Pop, the homegrown feeling of folk music, and the oceanic ambience of surf rock- a genre we like to call Seagaze– perfect music for summery weather.

Since 2013, The Foxfiresbeen playing shows across the east coast and midwest, sharing stages both small and large with artists like Michale Graves (Misfits former lead vocalist), Kurt Travis (Dance Gavin Dance former lead vocalist), Have Mercy, Pentimento, Gates, This Good Robot, Sparks the Rescue, amongst countless others. The Foxfires recorded a single and an EP with Four Year Strong producer, Dan Malsch, an EP with They Might Be Giants’ producer John Altschuler, and a full-length album with Grammy award winner, Ted Young. The Foxfires most recent release; Reawakening stands as a testament to their unique sound. Reawakening encompasses a truly eclectic sound perfect for warmer and colder weather with its diverse nature. Since its conception, The Foxfires envisioned the record was made to be the soundscape that blankets any mood, feeling, scenario, and mindset with its universal thematic elements and its intricate yet catchy hooks.

The Hook: “Reawakening is a solid album that really shows off how polished and well performed The Foxfires truly are… I’m really digging Reawakening and its quiet compassion.”

HiFi Noise: “Despite being from New York, they bring some of those California beach sounds with them”
