‘stache media and ShareCauseMedia are pleased to launch How Do YouCarewith The Lone Bellow. How Do YouCare features live performance sessions and interviews with artists who care about social change. The first session features The Lone Bellow performing songs from its debut album and discussing helping others through music, with a nod to the non-profit organizations charity: water and Restore NYC.
Check out The Lone Bellow performing “You Don’t Love Me Like You Used To,”, and talking about their support for charity: water. Says Zach Williams of The Lone Bellow, “If we could be an advocate for any organization, I think it would be charity:water…I believe in the very tangible need that they are trying to help meet…Our hearts I think are just very aligned.”
Adds Kanene Pipkin on song inspiration and global issues, “There is a hope that you have when you write from your own personal pain and personal tragedy that people will be able to see that, and people will be able to identify the same things that have happened to them, because it’s common to everyone. And then to be able to see that grief is a means by which we can achieve joy. I think for our art, and for the people who we hope will listen to it, we want to create that kind of empathy, that we can help people see inside of themselves and see that their own grief, their own story, isn’t meaningless, that it means something and that they can use that to help others with their grief and things they have been through.”
The Lone Bellow is also featured performing “Teach Me To Know,”and when asked what global issue they would choose to write a song about, the band opened up discussion on the New York-based organization Restore. The session was rounded out with a full performance of “You Never Need Nobody.”
