Ti’Jean brings you his new mixtape titled “Hall of Mirrors”.
It’s been sometime since we’ve heard from him last but he’s back with a new project. Much of his life is in this work of art and he is viciously unafraid to be transparent.
The lyrics are filled with aggression, truth, and clever wordplay. The beats are infectious, fresh, and mesh seamlessly with Ti’Jean’s flows. He took a look at himself as the “man in the mirror” and shared everything he’s been experiencing in his life lately with subject matter ranging from sex, his dreams, personal demons and love.
This project also has two major features that are totally unexpected because these are Ti’Jean’s first collaborations of his career…one is a bonafide HipHop legend – Scarface – and the other is a HipHop veteran buzzing right now – Pusha T – so this will be a great treat for all of Ti’Jean’s supporters.
The artist has been through many ups and downs and describes this past year as “the best and worst year of his life” so you can imagine how much he had to rap about on this new project.

About Ti’Jean
Born to Jamaican parents in Brooklyn, NY and raised in the Washington DC area, Ti’Jean maintains unique perspective of relocating to an area which craved traditional Hip Hop amid its own rich musical culture. Because of his array of influence, Ti’Jean defies boundaries with his one-of-a-kind flow and passion. He gives his soul to his art and to his audience, and this is apparent with his first line of any song.
The name Ti’Jean is definitely catchy, although it’s not a nickname. The young rapper’s parents named him with two different inspirations. The first was from author Jack Kerouac, founder of the Beat Generation (from whom The Beatles took their name), whose family’s nickname for him was “Ti Jean.” The other inspiration is the Haitian tale about Ti’Jean and his brothers. In this story, Ti’Jean tricks the Devil with his own strategies and defeats him. Today, Ti’Jean the artist has similar challenges, as he sets free his own demons through music.
Ti’Jean could have been many things in life, certainly something easier than being a Hip Hop artist. Sometimes to be great you have to risk it all for what you love and what you want to become…He made that decision early in his life, and has not looked back since.
