Fire K Studios was built from scratch to the specs of acoustic engineer/designer Gregg Vizza, and it offers both analog and digital recording. The cool thing is they’ve captured the design in a photo blog:

The owners have an interesting backstory to the launch of this new business. Andy Wilds and Matt Firek met 14 years ago as musicians in a band. Matt had always had a strong interest/talent in music production, though he chose a career as a pharmacist and did production on the side. Andy shared Matt’s interest in production and in 2005, they joined forces operating a home studio in State College. Shortly after they began, Andy received a letter from the City of Pittsburgh, Bureau of Fire and moved back to become a (second generation) City Firefighter. When Matt moved back to Pittsburgh a few years ago, they decided to pursue their dream and open a real studio.
