Label Recruit is an A&R Consulting and Artist Development company. They do work for labels, independent artists, music festivals, etc. For labels, it often means sending them monthly artist reports. For artists, their main service is the showcase series called Artist Auditions. Unsigned acts come into a recording studio in Manhattan and perform for music industry reps. While they perform, they record a live EP and music videos. This way, even if no one makes an offer, they still leave with recordings and videos.
Starting in October, Label Recruit is launching a new concert series that aims to focus more on the fan side. They will be promoting shows around NYC with great unsigned acts and hope to get fans out as well as some industry folks.
