The End Men continue to combine vaudeville concepts with rock’n’roll sounds and a circus caravan of toys topped with playful drumming beats and a voice that tastes like chocolate in an ashtray as they announce their second album, ‘Play With your Toys’.
The duo set its roots in 2011 and has kept its DYI and self-produced footprints ever since. Matthew Hendershot and Livia Ranalli have recorded and produced their second album in their loft space and ‘Play With your Toys’ will be released digitally on February 14th at theendmen.bandcamp.com.
The album takes you by the hand and swings you through its waves of circusy-dark blues and straightforward rocking sounds, led by a preaching vocal presence that has a modern story to tell. Download ‘Wrong Way Street’ by clicking HERE and feel encouraged to share it!
The opening track says it all – follow us, it’s only a show! Deeper cut ‘Into The Mines’ is a dark mix of popular music with hard rock feels that takes you down into your own conscious mind. The band’s mocking ‘It’s All Wrong’ is just the right interlude to what awaits you next: ‘Mental Trapeze’- a real, full-sized waltz-rock circus that features
all the toys in the band’s noise arsenal. The gypsy hints from ‘Play with Your Toys’ pts. I and II glue together this multitude of sounds and stories into a rock-bound book of bizarre.
The End Men will catch you on their #NoTourForOldMen U.S. tour in March, and will fly to Europe in July for their
second tour overseas.
