Dark acoustic rock outfit ANCIENT VVISDOM release their sophomore album Deathlike today on Prosthetic Records. To celebrate, the band has premiered the haunting new music video for their new record’s title track “Deathlike” on AOL’s Noisecreep. “Deathlike,” according to vocalist Nathan Opposition, “is a way of life, an ongoing war in the human mind conquering fear over death. It asks the question each human being must ask themselves – an effort to find life on earth.” The video, which was directed by Sikander Khan, can be viewed now:

The album, recorded in the band’s hometown of Austin, TX and mixed and mastered by engineer/co-producer Jason Buntz (Jet, The Darkness, …Trail Of Dead) along with partner and Enormous Door Studio founder Jack Control, continues to develop the band’s archaic sound with rich acoustic tones and heavy electric guitars while utilizing unusual percussion such as bones, bullets, machetes and railroad spikes. ANCIENT VVISDOM can currently be seen on a national tour in support of Enslaved along with Pallbearer and Royal Thunder and continuing on with Royal Thunder for another two weeks following.
