Seattle-based production duo ODESZA, made up of Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches), will tour the US for the first time ever this March with Emancipator and Little People. The duo met while finishing their senior year of college and spent the summer as recent graduates collaborating on what would become their first album, Summer’s Gone. Self-released online for free download in September, Summer’s Gone songs “How Did I Get Here” and “IPlayYouListen” quickly shot to the top of the HypeMachine chart gaining recognition around the world. The album achieves a delicate balance between dreamy sun trickled melodies, glitched out vocals, crunchy drums and large sweeping basslines. Having only played in the Pacific Northwest a few times, ODESZA is excited to showcase a mix of sample-based and original productions to the greater West Coast. Summer’s Gone is available for free download at odesza.com.
