Named one of Pittsburgh Post Gazette’s “Young Pittsburghers To Watch”, Maddie Georgi has been just that. Her latest EP Glory Bound is set to release on January 11, 2013 and as the title alludes, she has a very bright future ahead of her. Maddie Georgi sounds like KT Tunstall, Grace Potter, Carrie Underwood, and Adele.
Her first EP Go was released in 2009. Among the six tracks was “Take My Hand,” her first original song that was inspired by her autistic brother, Jake. The song gained popularity throughout the autism community and motivated Maddie to continue writing and performing music.

Throughout 2009, the release of Go propelled Maddie to cross paths with Country Music Television (CMT) on several occasions. Competing in CMT’s Music City Madness competition, her song “Gone Away Again” took second place out of 60,000 entries. CMT liked Maddie’s voice so much; they used her voice for the theme song to one of their sitcom’s Working Class.
You can catch Maddie performing live at the Rex Theater in the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA on the 11th of January, 2013.
