Blues Control’s Lea Cho (keyboards) and Russ Waterhouse (guitar, synth, tapes) continue to bring heat and light to you this winter, as they hit the road through February and March in support of their epic 2012 album, Valley Tangents. Touring steadily in support of their debut record with Drag City, the duo stopped by the Drag City HQ in Chicago recently for a taping of the second-ever “Steam Room Session” aka Drag City Limits — after all, it is frigid in Chicago this time of year! If the Velvets had White Light / White Heat, here you’ll witness Blues Control boast Colored Light / Weird Heat. Not quite sure what that means but it doesn’t matter — the point is, check out the steamy footage, and check them out on tour — where they will either warm your soul, melt your heart, or sizzle yr face! Maybe even all of the above!
