To celebrate the release of Stronger on November 19th, Kate Earl is performing a residency at The Hotel Café in Los Angeles all month and has just announced a run of dates this December with UK-based singer-songwriter Passenger. The Wall Street Journal named Kate an “Act to Watch” at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon in NYC, and praised her “warm, sometimes-smoky voice and acute pop sensibility.”

It’s also no surprise that Alaska born singer-songwriter Kate Earl was recently named Glamour.com’s “New Indie Obsession.” With her rootsy brand of all-American 70’s pop-rock, Stronger echoes the timeless era of west coast singers like Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt and Joni Mitchell and features collaborators Brett Dennen and former Dawes member Blake Mills.

Kate’s new collection showcases the careful development of a singular voice, re-emerging as a deeply thoughtful songwriter coming into her own. “Maybe I’m a late bloomer,” Kate admits with an infectious chuckle, “but I think I’ve reached such a place of honesty with this album. It’s me coming out and telling my stories. This is where I came from.”
