Try to get Neighbors to define their sound and they will tell you, “rock n’ roll”. But they are proud to wear some of their influences on their sleeve: the Motown sound, The Beach Boys, Elvis Costello, and The Jam. The Pittsburgh four piece has great melody and certainly understand what constructs a good pop tune.
On their new release “Prime Numbers”, Neighbors show their versatility by the variance in tunes such as the punky “All The Time”, the soulful “Real Talk”, the soft lover “What Did You Say” and the raw rocker “Green Shoes”.

Neighbors are playing the International Pop Overthrow in Brooklyn Nov. 13, and are also playing WYEP’s Holiday Hootenanny at Stage AE December 12.
