92.1 WPTS presents Bleeding Rainbow
with special guests Instead of Sleeping and Gypsy and His Band of Ghosts on Thursday, March 7th!

Bleeding Rainbow is a dreamy, garage band from Philadelphia. They’ll be supported by local favorites, Instead of Sleeping and Gypsy and His Band of Ghosts.
Bleeding Rainbow started as duo with the band name Reading Rainbow in 2009. The band changed its name to Bleeding Rainbow in 2012 with the addition of a fourth member. Bleeding Rainbow’s recently released album, Yeah Right, has been featured on Stereogum’s Album of the Week and has received high marks from Pitchfork and Consequence of Sound. “Bleeding Rainbow’s new album has been a station favorite since its debut,” says WPTS Station Manager, Kira Scammell. “We’re stoked to have the opportunity to have them perform for us.”
WPTS is an educational, non-commercial FM station owned by the University of Pittsburgh and operated by its students. Located at a frequency of 92.1 in the commercial band of the FM dial, we have a radiating power of 17 Watts, and an effective radiated output of 17 Watts. Since its inception, WPTS has established itself as one of the major college radio stations in the U.S. WPTS is a key player in the Pittsburgh music scene working with all local promoters to support and bring to the city the music we play.
