VONDELPARK’S SEABED OUT NOW ON R&S RECORDS
British trio Vondelpark released their debut album, Seabed, last week on R&S Records. It’s a bold and intuitive debut that patiently builds on their previously released “Sauna” and “nyc stuff and nyc bags”EPs. Still intensely inward-looking, the songs here are looser with a more collaborative feel to the rhythms and playing. A submerged atmosphere comes across and pillowy textures and lush, romantic sounds run throughout.
After sharing album track “California Analog Dream,” today, Vondelpark release the Factory Floor remixof this track,”keeping the lost and searching quality intact but wedding it to a furiously blippy dancefloor banger,” as described by Stereogum. Both single and Factory Floor remix, plus the previously releasedBullion remix are now available in a bundle via iTunes.
