Stuart’s Opera House presents the 9th Annual Nelsonville Music Festival, May 30-June 22013at Robbins Crossing on the campus of Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. Nelsonville Music Festival is headlined by Wilco, Cat Power, John Prine, Gogol Bordello, Mavis Staples, Sharon Van Etten, Calexico, Jonathan Richman, Screaming Females, David Wax Museum, Wooden Indian Burial Ground and many more all weekend long.

The Nelsonville Music Festival continues to be one of the best in the region and one of the most unique music festivals in the country. Past performers have included The Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, The Avett Brothers, Iron & Wine, Andrew Bird, Neko Case, Yo La Tengo, George Jones, M.Ward, and many more.

Described by Andrew Bird (who performed in 2012) as being “It’s the perfect size festival. Any bigger and you’d lose something.”, the Nelsonville Music Festival continues to be one of the best in the region and one of the most unique music festivals in the country. Set in the beautiful, rolling hills of Southeast Ohio, this small and intimate festival continues to gain fans who want a music festival with a more personal experience.

Catch live music on multiple stages including a small “no-fi” cabin and a picturesque porch stage in addition to our main stage. We take pride in offering a warm, accepting environment where local artisans can sell and be recognized for their work, where local, regional and national musicians instill their awe-inspiring talents and festival goers can relax and enjoy the fruits of our regional flavor. The Nelsonville Music Festival offers multiple stages of music all weekend long along with camping on site, kids activities, local art vendors, food, and a beer garden. The Nelsonville Music Festival is a production ofStuart’s Opera House, a historic, non-profit theater located in Nelsonville that features over 75 events a year including live music, theater, films, educational programming and more. Created in 2011 by MusicFile Productions, a Georgia based LLC; Savannah Stopover is a three-day music festival that takes place the weekend prior to SXSW in Savannah’s famed historic district. Opening Night: Savannah is home to SCAD- the Savannah College of Art and Design- one of the nation’s most prestigious art schools. SCAD students, along with countless other area students and artists, create band posters for each Stopover band. The artwork will be showcased at an opening night art party and concert featuring The Last Bison on March 7th.

of Montreal Concert In The Park: Savannah Stopover, in Partnership with Visit Savannah, is hosting a free concert in the city’s historic Forsyth Park, featuring Athens, GA legends of Montreal on Friday night, March 8th.

Soul Clap and Dance Off: The festival goes retro on Saturday night March 9th with Jonathan Toubin’s legendary New York Night Train Soul Clap & Dance Off, spinning rare 60’s soul on 45-RPM vinyl.

Savannah Stopover Fun
Savannah’s open container laws make it one of only a few places in the U.S. where merriment takes to the streets. This year’s festival will include the now infamous late night DJ after parties in the Artist Lounge, afternoon stages with beer, bar-b-cue and sliders and many more special events to be announced. In Savannah, you’re never more than a short walk or Pedicab ride away from your next musical adventure.
