Atlanta, GA’s bastards of noise rock, Whores have announced a three week tour in support of their latest critically acclaimed release Clean. The tour kicks off with an appearance at SXSW in Austin, TX and then includes a run of dates through the Midwest with Lo-Pan followed by East Coast dates with label-mates Fight Amp and select dates with Deafheaven, Roomrunner, and Rye Coalition.  A complete list of shows can be seen below.

Whores released their second album Clean on LP/Digital this past October via Brutal Panda Records and it quickly sold out within a month.  A second pressing of the hard-hitting noise rock behemoth is available for pre-order here.  The album can be streamed in its entirety here.

Additionally, Whores are set to release a split 7″ of The Cure covers with Portland, OR noise/sludge trio Rabbits via Brutal Panda Records / Eolian Empire on February 11th.  Cover art and pre-orders are availablehere while Whores contribution to the split, a cover of “Jumping Someone Else’s Train” can be heard here.

The split 7″ is the fourth and final release in the Brutal Panda curated series that contained contributions from Kowloon Walled City, Batillus, Fight Amp, Black Tusk, Helms Alee, and Ladder Devils.  More information on all of the releases in the series is available here.

Clean coming October 29th via Brutal Panda Records

Atlanta, GA’s bastards of noise rock, Whores, have revealed the second track behind their highly anticipated sophomore release entitled Clean. Listen to the new song “Last Looks” via Noisey here.  Recorded with Ryan Boesch (Melvins, Helmet, Tomahawk, Fu Manchu) at Parhelion Recording Studios, Clean will see an October 29th release on 12″ vinyl / digital formats via Brutal Panda Records.  The lead track from the record “Baby Bird”, is also currently available for streaming via Bandcamp along with pre-orders of the record here.

Additionally, Whores’ have announced a pair of record release shows in support of Clean to take place in their hometown of Atlanta, GA and Brooklyn, NY.  A list of dates is available below with more to be announced shortly.

Brutal Panda Records Announces 7″ Subscription Series

Brutal Panda Records is proud to announce their first ever vinyl subscription series.  The label will be releasing four split 7″s throughout the remainder of 2013, with a new 7″ being released every couple of months.  The series is kicking off with a repress of the long out of print Black Tusk / Fight Amp split featuring artwork from Baroness frontman John Baizley.  The remaining 7″s will feature brand new and exclusive tracks from:

Atlanta, GA’s bastards of noise rock, Whores have entered the studio to record their highly anticipated follow-up to 2011’s critically acclaimed Ruiner. The band is recording with Ryan Boesch (Melvins, Helmet, Tomahawk, Fu Manchu) at Parhelion Recording Studios and a late Spring / early Summer release is expected via Brutal Panda Records.  Vocalist / Guitarist Christian Lembach commented on the upcoming material:

“Ryan is a total badass, and we’re really excited to be working with him. We look forward to getting this record in peoples’ hands so we can continue to melt faces on the road!”
