VIOLENT IDOLS blazes into 2021 for REVENGE with the official music video for their blistering sequel to 2020’s Idolatry, that featured AEW Jon Moxley’s theme song, “UNSCRIPTED VIOLENCE,” as well as collaborations with hard rock heavy weights such as Andy James (Five Finger Death Punch), Aaron Nordstrom (Gemini Syndrome), and K.A.Z (VAMPS). The single was produced and mixed by KANE CHURKO at The Hideout Recording Studio in Henderson NV with the video directed by Steffen Orozco, “REVENGE” showcases the raw intensity that the band has become known for while blending industrial and electronic elements into a style that has become uniquely their own. “REVENGE” sounds exactly like you want it to, exploring the dark side of humanity within a track that is both powerful and heavy while confidently flirting with commerciality via the sonic wizardry that Churko is well-known for.
”This band has always been about looking the monster inside right in the eye and staring it down. REVENGE is no exception. With social media we all always seem so caught up in only showing our best selves. But that’s not all we are. You really only know somebody after you’ve seen the worst side of them. Yourself included. When you confront the depths of your own darkness, you begin to lift that veil.”
“It’s easy to say you’d turn the other cheek while sitting in an ivory tower. But when the blood of someone you love ends up on the hands of your enemy, what do you do? A lot of people don’t like to ask themselves that question. They don’t want to know what the monster inside of them looks like.”
2021 is poised to be a tremendous year for VIOLENT IDOLS as they ready their second EP and continue their pattern of collaborating with some of rock music’s biggest names. VIOLENT IDOLS have managed to rack up millions of streams in their first year as an unsigned independent band. Proving that music doesn’t have to be “safe” to sell, there seems to be no shortage of excitement over the bands artistic output thus far. The lyrics of “REVENGE” ask “Where does it stop? Where does it end?”. However, it’s clear with this release that REVENGE is just the beginning of huge things for this mysterious and enigmatic Las Vegas band.
Enigmatic, Aggressive Hard Rock band VIOLENT IDOLS has revealed their explosive new single with GEMINI SYNDROME front-man AARON NORDSTROM. Produced and mixed by Kane Churko at The Hideout Recording Studio, “Fuck You” is the newest single off of the band’s upcoming EP, Idolatry.
“‘Fuck You’ encapsulates a feeling that every single person alive has felt at one time or another. Even the best of us still have moments where we want to just let our anger and frustration out and say ‘Fuck You’. This song is an ode to that feeling, a feeling that need not be hidden inside as its an honest reflection of the internal human struggle.” – VIOLENT IDOLS
“Very appropriately I started writing this song in my car after getting stuck behind bad driver after bad driver. Aaron and I had discussed the idea of him guesting on our EP and once I had the initial seeds for it I knew it would be perfect to involve him on. Aaron is an extremely talented artist and he brought a whole other layer of intellectual rage to the song that I would not have been able to do alone.”
In preparing a music video for the new single, the band has also announced a contest for fans to submit footage to be considered for inclusion. Fans can record how they say “Fuck You” during this quarantine and submit their footage HERE!
Enigmatic, Aggressive Hard Rock band VIOLENT IDOLS has released the official music video for “Enemies with Benefits.” Their roaring new single featuring their signature destructive sound somehow even more VIOLENT than ever before, “Enemies with Benefits” is off of the band’s upcoming debut EP which will boast collaborations with some of the band’s most VIOLENT conspirators such as Aaron Nordstrom (Gemini Syndrome), Andy James, KAZ (VAMPS) as well as the official Jon MoxleyAll Elite Wrestling theme song “UNSCRIPTED VIOLENCE“ that can be heard every Wednesday during AEW Dynamite on TNT. The EP was produced and mixed by Kane Churko at The Hideout Recording Studio, Henderson, NV.
“This project has been a long time coming. We have been working viciously to articulate our message of violence and are anxious to finally hand it over to the people. “Enemies With Benefits” is the first stop on the road to violent idolatry that we are here to take you on.”
“There is no hero without an enemy and usually even the villain thinks himself the hero. This song explores the schizophrenic relationship between the two and their perpetual bond.” – V
