WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE Performance Set For April 27

Dear friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you today: Our two brothers Cris ‘Pizza’ Migliore and Cristiano ‘CriZ’ Mozzati have decided to retire from LACUNA COIL.

Both Pizza and CriZ have had big changes impact their lives recently – we know how stressful and difficult it can be to balance both real life and the life of a professional touring musician, and we have nothing but total respect for their decisions to focus on their families and lives at home.

We have such incredible memories of traveling and exploring the world together with Pizza and CriZ, and we want to wish them both all the best as they begin these exciting new chapters in their lives. We will never forget the important roles they played in this band, or the incredible times we shared together.

THANK YOU PIZZA AND CRIZ! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Cristina, Andrea, Marco, and Maus.

LACUNA COIL

From Pizza:

Dear friends,

After over 16 years spent with the LACUNA COIL family, I decided to move on and begin a new chapter in my life. This hasn’t been an easy decision, as you can imagine, but I felt like I needed to change some things around.

I’m glad and honored that I’ve had the chance to be able to embark on such an amazing adventure, with such wonderful people as “travel companions”! I will never forget my time in LACUNA COIL and I wish my sister and brothers all the best for whatever the future may bring.

I’m sure you understand! I would also really like to thank every single one of you for showing such amazing love and support for a small band from Milan, Italy, who would’ve never thought would become what it has during these incredible 16 years. Thank you all and enjoy this last record we did with me and CriZ as part of the line-up – it’s some of the best music we’ve done and I’m sure you’ll love it!

Keep on rockin’!!

Cris ‘Pizza’ Migliore

From CriZ:

Hey Coilers,

As many of you guys and gals know, during this last year lots of very important things happened in my life – something really amazing, and deep enough to make me sit in front of my laptop to write these bittersweet words…

I’m leaving my “second family” LACUNA COIL because I need this change in my life… this hasn’t been an easy decision at all and I’ve come to it with pain in my heart, because together we laughed and cried; we fought and gave all our lives to this amazing band. Together we lived the dream for 16 wonderful, intense and unforgettable years. All you guys around the world gave me such positive and sincere vibes and emotions that will stay embedded in my heart for the rest of my life! I want to say thank you Coilers, friends, crew, partners, and people that listen to our music for being such an inspiration for me. To my brothers and sis I’d like to say the following: Never stop to kicking asses, you sure know how to!

The new record is the best thing we’ve done together. I have put all my passion and feelings into it and I’m sure you’ll love it. I’ll never stop playing drums – as we all know, if you were born with rock inside your veins, you’ll die with it… and this is what I will do.

Take care and stay Coilers!

CriZ

Century Media Records would like to extend a massive thank you to Cris “Pizza” Migliore and Cristiano “CriZ” Mozzati, as they will be missed – ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ marks a new chapter in the ever-evolving history of LACUNA COIL, but the band will not be slowing down. In fact, they are currently packing their bags and gear to begin touring.

LACUNA COIL return to the road to introduce North America to ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ as part of the REVOLVER HOTTEST CHICKS IN HARD ROCK TOUR, which launches February 20 and features LACUNA COIL sharing a stage with SICK PUPPIES, Century Media Records labelmates EYES SET TO KILL, and CILVER. The tour launches in Wilmington, NC, and runs through March 20 in Anaheim, CA. See complete itinerary below, and visit www.hottestchickstour.com for additional details and VIP packages.

Joining LACUNA COIL on the Revolver HCIHR tour will be drummer Ryan Folden. Fans will already be familiar with Ryan, as he performed live with LACUNA COIL on the majority of the 2012 and 2013 ‘Dark Legacy’ and ‘Dark Adrenaline’ tours.

‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ is set for releases April 1, 2014 in North America (March 31 in Europe, Australia, New Zealand) on Century Media Records. The album is the band’s seventh studio effort, and the highly-anticipated follow-up to ‘Dark Adrenaline’, which was released in January 2012 and saw the band tour with acts including Megadeth, Motorhead, Volbeat, Sevendust and Paradise Lost after debuting at No. 15 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

Fans can get a taste of ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ in the form of the album track “Nothing Stands In Our Way,” recently released via the Century Media Records Soundcloud page:

https://soundcloud.com/centurymedia/lacuna-coil-nothing-stands/s-ecjkO.

The band will also be appearing on MONSTER ENERGY’S WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE festival, where they perform April 27 alongside ROB ZOMBIE, KORN, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and more. The two-day festival, held April 26-27 along the St. John’s River in Jacksonville, FL, will also feature headliners AVENGED SEVENFOLD and THE CULT. 6. I Forgive (But I Won’t Forget Your Name)
  7. Cybersleep

  11. On Cold Day
LACUNA COIL have this to say about ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’:

“What conflict could run so deep that it takes you to the deepest corners of your inner world? Today we are surrounded by a lot of lies, aliases, and people acting like they are wearing an invisible crown – but you better have thick skin if you want to wear this crown! ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ is a cinematic album that could be the soundtrack of our days – it is a dark vision of a near future when survival is second nature, and failure is not something to be avoided, but rather cultivated with lessons learned along the way.

We set the bar pretty high with ‘Dark Adrenaline’ and it hasn’t been easy bringing our sound to the next level, but we have lived, learned and grown through a year full of personal issues and changes. We learned to be strong and get stronger, and we felt an inner vibe in this band that we haven’t felt before. We locked ourselves in an age-old studio in Milan, Italy, where history was strong and the past met with our future, vintage gear and the influence of classic Italian horror movies and bands like Goblin meeting the fresh and rough sounds of the modern world with unique and invigorating results. ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ is Lacuna Coil introducing a new order, and letting nothing stand in our way…”

LACUNA COIL were joined in their native Italy by producer Jay Baumgardner [P.O.D., Sevendust, Evanescence, Papa Roach] and engineer Kyle Hoffmann [P.O.D., Bush, Zebrahead]. ‘BROKEN CROWN HALO’ was mastered by Howie Weinberg, whose credits include Rammstein, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Deftones and Sheryl Crow.

ABOUT THE BANDS:

SICK PUPPIES:

Los Angeles via Australia modern rock trio Sick Puppies slammed into the scene in 2006 with their groundbreaking “Free Hugs,” video, which has garnered more than 40 million views on YouTube to date. The video, which accompanied the band’s song “All The Same,” earned Sick Puppies exposure on Oprah, Jay Leno, “60 Minutes” and CNN. It also propelled “All the Same” into a top requested single at commercial radio stations across North America. Years before YouTube, Sick Puppies were winning prestigious commendations, including “Best Song” from Triple J Unearthed, and “Best Live Performance” from the Australian Live Music Awards. The Australian edition of Rolling Stone even called Sick Puppies “the most dynamic new band in the country.” This past year saw the release of their most recent album, Connect (via Capitol Records), which garnered the band an impressive #17 debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart. With infectious tunes, a jaw-dropping stage show and equal doses of hits and hugs, Sick Puppies are striking a blow against the horde of faceless modern rock bands that are virtually all the same.

LACUNA COIL:

Moving and powerful, mysterious and serpentine, the music of Lacuna Coil has always been somewhat of a mystery to nail down. Too brawny to be gothic, yet too melodic to be purely metal, the band has carved a path all its own with their unique sound and undeniable songwriting prowess. Fans are in store for a real treat this time around, as the band will debut songs from their newly recorded album; the Jay Baumgardner produced Broken Crown Halo, which is set for an April 1 release date through Century Media Records.

EYES SET TO KILL:

Eyes Set To Kill have been providing fans with an outlet for their aggression since they first emerged from Phoenix, Arizona in 2003. Since then, they have amassed over 1.3 million Facebook likes, covered USA Today, and landed on Alternative Press’s coveted “100 Bands You Need to Know List”. On the road, they’ve developed into a veritable whirlwind, sharing stages with everyone from Papa Roach to Black Veil Brides. They’ve crossed the globe four times on tour and even headlined a festival in Jakarta in front of 8,000-plus fans. Their new album Masks is out now via Century Media Records, produced by Steve Evetts (Suicide Silence, The Dillinger Escape Plan).

CILVER:

Emerging from the New York, NY rock scene, Cilver, fronted by Uliana, one of the 2014 Revolver’s Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock, is quickly making a name for themselves. With their debut single, “In My Head”, which features Bumblefoot of Guns n’ Roses, the band has garnered attention from Revolver Magzine, Metal Insider, Blabbermouth, and many other sites. “In My Head” has also been the “Flavor Of The Week” on Music Choice TV and has been getting spins on Sirius XM Octane, along with dozens of other national radio stations. Cilver’s debut EP, “In My Head” will be independently released on January 21. Check out their video and single at www.cilverband.com.

“We’re really looking forward to returning to Rock On The Range with a batch of brand new killer Alice tunes
to play for everyone!” says Jerry Cantrell, Alice In Chains.

“Head is back!!,” says Korn’s Jonathan Davis. “Rock On The Range is going to start it all off!! Get ready,
we are going to hit it hard!!”

“Bush are thrilled to be playing Rock On The Range with such great bands,” says Bush’s Gavin Rosdale.
“We look forward to seeing you all out there.”

“This massive lineup has scratched our seven-year itch!” says Gary Spivack, co-executive producer of the
event for Right Arm Entertainment. “Getting Soundgarden for their first Ohio play in two decades and
having seminal acts Alice In Chains, Korn, Volbeat and Papa Roach return along with bands new to ROTR that
include Smashing Pumpkins and Bush, and everything in between–the spectrum of rock n roll is covered…three days of constant energy. Rock On The Range is truly where rock lives.”

Now in its seventh year, ROTR will again take place at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH on Friday, May 17, Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2013. With the addition of a full slate of artists performing on Friday, festival organizers are also adding a series of additional enhancements for ROTR 2013, including the new ROTR Comedy Tent.
“Our goal with ROTR is to constantly create new and interesting ways to expand the event and give even more
value to our fans,” comments Joe Litvag, co-executive producer of the event for AEG Live. “In 2013, we’ve
added a comedy tent within the site that will be curated by The Funny Bone comedy club. Having a slate of
incredible, up-and-coming comedians to riff on the rock experience will be a great change of pace for the
weekend. The site layout is also changing dramatically in 2013 to create better event flow, to add more
interactive fan activity to the festival, and to allow even more people to experience the higher caliber of talent
on the second stage this year.”

As a special limited offer, pre-sale weekend tickets start at a low price of $89.50 (plus fees), for Stadium
GA tickets only, from Wednesday, January 30 through Thursday, January 31 at 10pm EST.
Additionally, a limited number of Stadium GA “4-ticket packs” are also available for $299–a savings of
nearly 25%–beginning on Wednesday, January 30, while supplies last.
