Adema is a post-grunge, alternative metal band with heavy electronica influence who began their musical adventure together in 1998 in Bakersfield and as their original lineup of Dave DeRooKris KohlsMike RansomTim Fluckey, and Mark Chavez released full-length albums AdemaUnstable, and EP Insomniac’s Dream. During this time they found themselves sharing the stage alongside of some of rock’s biggest acts at the time: Linkin ParkOzzy OsbourneGodsmackStone Temple PilotsRob ZombieSystem of a Down, and Korn, just to name a few.

After Unstable, the band found itself facing major roadblocks in their future. The most impactful being the departure of two founding members, lead vocalist Mark Chavez and guitarist Mike Ransom. Remaining members Tim, Dave, and Kris showed exceptional resilience through the years, managing to secure a second record deal with Earache Records, continuing to tour, and releasing full-length records Planets and Kill the Headlights, followed by EP Topple the Giants. Refusing to let down the fans after the departure of Chavez, they first played and recorded with vocalist Luke Caraccioliand then Bobby Reeves, with guitarist Tim Fluckey eventually taking up the vocal duties of the band.

After years of perseverance, 2010 brought us their first reunion as the original 5 members. Chavez left the group, and then again in 2017 they got back together until Chavez refused several tour offers, finally making it known to the group he no longer had interest in singing Adema songs, touring, or recording. All hope seemed to be lost. The original singer was no longer an option and only someone AMAZING would be good enough to fill the vacuum left behind. That’s when Kris Kohls called long-time friend of the band, Ryan Shuck (Orgy, Julien-K, Dead By Sunrise), and the beginning of a new era begun. Sharing Adema’s love for electronica-infused rock, this merger is bringing about a new commitment to Adema’s roots. Being able to front both his band, Julien-K, and Adema would not have been possible without the full support of both bands, both of which enjoy history and friendship together that has spanned several years. With a major tour announced for the Fall of 2019, it wouldn’t be too hard to imagine that there will be some amazing new music coming in the near future as well. Stay tuned!

Industrial/Rock band 51 PEG are pleased to announce the release of their new album A\VOID. This is their first release after a 14 year hiatus.

51 Peg formed in 1998, with the release of their first album “Strange Appointments” coming in 2000 which drew comparisons to a varied group of artists like Peter Murphy, Depeche Mode, and Orgy. The follow-up album “Esc \ Ctrl” featured a more focused and polished sound, and pushed the band forward in popularity. The group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2007 but was offered a reunion show in 2016 which proved to be successful.

Building on that momentum and with the combined experience gathered over the years in other projects, the band decided to write their most ambitious material yet. Listen to the latest evolution of the band’s sound at 51peg.com.

ORGY Is Back and Calling Upon the Fans For Support

ORGY has officially launched their Indiegogo campaign just over 24 hours ago to help raise funds and awareness that ORGY is back and bigger than ever! With a goal set of raising $100,000 in 60 days we need ORGY fans to come together like never before and help “crowdfund” the band back to stardom. Money raised will be spent on recording, production, distribution, music videos, touring and even starting a new record label to bring new music to the rest of the world. This is a huge opportunity and an extreme undertaking, which is why ORGY is calling upon their fans for help and support. “Without the fans, we are nothing… This is why we need our fans to become something” – Jay Gordon

Why We Need You – The music industry today is very different from what the music industry was, what used to be a thriving industry of large labels has now dwindled down to just a few and has made it extremely difficult to be successful. As much of a disappointment this is, it has also opened a door for us to start a brand new label, and with your help, we can achieve ground breaking results with not justORGY, but giving other bands an opportunity and chance in the industry with us. Without a major label backing and funding us it makes it very difficult and expensive to record, produce and distribute our music to the fans. Once we do that we need to hit the road and tour, not just nationally, but internationally as well (can you believe we have never toured Europe or Japan?). Essentially we want you guys, the fans, to help get the new band and label off the ground, that way we can maintain creative freedom and do what WE want to do and not what another label tells us to do.

We have been funding ORGY from our own pockets and have reached a point where we have taken it as far as we possibly can by ourselves, and the wells run dry. This is where we need your help, without proper backing we are unable to bring our music to the fans, so we are asking everyone to come together and back us, be our supporters, and enable us to bring our music and other artists to you and the rest of the world.

The Impact – The impact from what could come from this is enormous. With your support and backing we can launch ORGY into a national and international name once again. We have more dedication and drive to make this a success than ever before, not only with the music but with the label as well. This will give new bands the opportunity to be heard and succeed as well as ORGY. We just simply can’t continue out of our pockets anymore and going after a major label just isn’t the right path for us. We ask that you be a part of something new, something big, help revive ORGY and help bring new music to the world.

Other Ways to Help – We understand that not everyone is able or willing to support us financially, but there are many ways that you can help us and support us. Spread the word! Just as important as money is letting people know that we’re back, you can share our facebook page, tell your friends, blast social media sites and anything else you can think of to get the name of ORGY back out there! You are all amazing and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for checking out our campaign, supporting us and getting our name back out there! Get ready for the new ORGY!

History of ORGY – Originally formed in 1997, ORGY was signed to Korn’s label Elementree Records and released their debut album Candyass in 1998. Featuring their two hit singles, a cover of the New Order song “Blue Monday” and “Stitches” along with the song “Revival” featuring Jonathan Davis of KORN, the album went on to sell almost two million copies. ORGY appeared on the Family Values Tour with Korn, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, Incubus and Rammstein and were featured on the live compilation album from the tour released in 1999. Their second album, the science fiction-themed Vapor Transmission, was released in 2000 featuring the singles “Fiction (Dreams in Digital)” and “Opticon” and the band later released the song “Faces” for the soundtrack to the movie Zoolander.

As the demand from fans for new music and a tour continued to grow over the past few years, founding member Jay Gordon (vocals) hand-selected guitarist Carlton Bost (former of Deadsy), guitarist Ashburn Miller (also from Deadsy), bassist Nic Speck (from Run-Run-Run and George Lynch) and drummer Bobby Amaro (from Nude) to come together and carry on the ORGY name. The guys, who’ve all known each other from their previous projects, have mutual respect both professionally and creatively for one another and are excited to be working together to bring ORGY back to the top.

What do ADELE, the Super Bowl and IRON MAN Have in Common? Hint: “Let’s Go All The Way”

JAY GORDON of ORGY Re-Imagines THE WONDERGIRLS Track “Let’s Go All The Way” for the IRON MAN 3 Soundtrack – The Story Behind the Song

image001 (3)

Multi-faceted producer, musician and ORGY vocalist JAY GORDON recently spearheaded the re-producing of a new version of “Let’s Go All The Way” by THE WONDERGIRLS for the IRON MAN 3 soundtrack, titled Iron Man 3: Heroes Fall. The new track, which mainly features vocals by Ashley Hamilton (who appears in the IRON MAN movie), JAY GORDON (who can be heard on the official iTunes clip) and Robbie Williams, is a retake of the original remake of the 80’s Slyfox hit.

The original remake by THE WONDERGIRLS  was initially recorded for a Celebrity Deathmatch soundtrack in 1999. The original line-up of THE WONDERGIRLS included JAY GORDON, Scott Weiland, Martyn LeNoble, Ashley Hamilton, Mark McGrath, Ian Astbury, and Shannon Leto… just to name a few.

Now, the track sees its day again for the IRON MAN 3 soundtrack. JAY GORDON was called to re-create the track and quickly took the reins, producing it to modern standards while infusing it with his signature style, and lending his voice as the one of the featured lead vocalists. After all vocals were added, the track was then handed over to Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence, Papa Roach) for mixing.

“When I got call from Ashley Hamilton saying he was in the movie, I almost didn’t believe him. Then he said he wanted to put the song in the movie, and I did a double take of sorts. I said, ‘didn’t we already do this once?’” recalls track producer JAY GORDON. “When it came down to remaking the track, no one seemed to be able to pull everything together fast enough, so FUTR3 and I quickly put it together. It was a learning experience because we really didn’t have much time. Recreating the whole thing from scratch was rough too, because we didn’t have Shannon Leto. So I tried to reprogram the drums to make it sound as realistic as possible. FUTR3 and I did a lot of back and forth work, taking turns recording the other guys on the track. Then out of the blue, Ashley Hamilton had the idea that, since they had worked together in the past, we should incorporate Robbie Williams.”

While working on the track, JAY GORDON met some great new people, including a very famous English singer-songwriter who happened to offer him tea on Super Bowl Sunday.

“On Super Bowl Sunday, we went over to Robbie Williams’ house to do some work! Funny story before I continue… In the beginning of the day, Robbie mentioned an “Adele” that would be coming over, but I figured it was just someone he knew with the name,” starts Jay. “So at one point I walked downstairs (because I kept going back and forth to check on my poor 49ers) and Adele, yes THE Adele, was there in the room. So great… quickly after meeting she sweetly offered me some tea, which was shocking to me because the fact that I had just randomly walked up to Adele in someone’s home and she’s all the sudden offering me tea like it was nothing was unbelievable. We briefly talked, debated the differences between football and futbol, and talked about why Americans are so obsessed with the sport. It was a great, unexpected moment.”

“Anyway, Robbie was a delight to work with. He’s very professional, a total gentleman, a genius and an excellent singer,” adds Jay. “There’s nothing he can’t do. He’s not somebody that I’d jump in and produce right away. I just let him do his thing because he just knew what he wanted to do. He’s natural at placement, rhythm and timing, so there definitely wasn’t much producing when it came to his vocals. Everything is him, all you really need to do with Robbie Williams is press record.”

The track and IRON MAN 3 are both seeing successful releases! The movie alone, according to Financial Times (FT.com), grossed over $700 Million after only one week in theaters.

DAVEY SUICIDE Named One of Alternative Press’s 100 Bands You Need to Know This Year

Pittsburgh Music Magazine will be interviewing Davey when he hits Pittsburgh, March 27 at Altar Bar…

Pre-Orders For Debut LP Available Now

Continuing the full out onslaught leading up to the release of DAVEY SUICIDE‘s full length debut Alternative Press Magazine has named DAVEY SUICIDE as one of the “100 Bands You Need to Know This Year”. The issue features can be picked up HEREDAVEY will also be taking part in the Alternative Press “100 Bands You Need to Know” Party during this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 16th.

The album which will be released March 19th is now available for pre-order in exclusive bundle packages HERE. It will also be available on tour.

DAVEY SUICIDE will wrap up his headlining tour tonight in Portland, OR tonight and then will be joining up with Orgy and Vampires Everywhere for the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” starting March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ.

Following the headline dates, DAVEY SUICIDE will be joining up with industrial rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere on the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” which starts March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ and runs through April 15th in Los Angeles, CA.

DAVEY SUICIDE is ready to set the world ablaze. On his self-titled debut album, the Los Angeles insurgent injects gutter grit back into rock ‘n’ roll. It’s been far too long since a rebel raged through town with distortion blaring, middle fingers in the air, girls dropping their panties, and flames everywhere. Flanked by bandmates Frankie Sil [Bass], Drayven Davidson [Drums], Needlz [Keyboards], and Ashes [Guitar], he distills heavy metal, industrial, and punk into anthems that are as corrosive as they are catchy. Whether or not you’re prepared, Suicide has arrived.

What you see with SUICIDE is what you get, and Suicide isn’t pulling any punches. Targeting hypocrisy, his unbridled honesty courses through the synth snarl of “Sick Suicide” and the stomping riff bitchslap of “Grab a Gun & Hide Your Morals.”

He also deliberately leaves no emotion untouched. Tracks like “Hustler Queen” and “Uncross Your Legs” ooze a dirty charm, while “I’ll Take a Bullet for You” is a mournful addiction elegy carried by a faint acoustic melody.

On stage, it comes together with a brutal bombast. For Suicide, the show is paramount. “We’ve assembled five guys who are essentially front-men in their own right,” he adds. “I wanted to have all of the bullets in the chamber and fire them off at once. That’s what we’re about to do.”

That blast is going to leave a big mark, and things may never be the same. Welcome to generation fuck star, and say hello to your new leader, DAVEY SUICIDE!

DAVEY SUICIDE to Release Self-Titled Debut March 19th/Appearing @ Altar Bar 3/27

Davey Suicide will be appearing at Altar Bar with Vampires Everywhere and Orgy on March 27

As the “Year of Suicide” rolls on, DAVEY SUICIDE has confirmed the release date for his self-titled full length debut. The album is set for a March 19th release via Standby Records. In support of the release, SUICIDE will be headed out on his first ever headlining tour kicking off February 22nd in Butte, MT.

Following the headline dates, DAVEY SUICIDE will be joining up with industrial rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere on the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” which starts March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ and runs through April 14th in San Francisco, CA.

SUICIDE is ready to unleash his music to the masses across North America:

“I’m beyond excited to share our album with the world. I feel like a caged animal chewing through steel bars to break free to the other side.”

Alternative Press Magazine has just released their “100 Bands You Need to Know” Issue. The issue features SUICIDE as one of the highlighted artists and is available for purchase HERE. DAVEY will also be taking part in the Alternative Press “100 Bands You Need to Know” Party during this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 16th.

DAVEY SUICIDE is ready to set the world ablaze. The Los Angeles insurgent injects gutter grit back into rock ‘n’ roll, where it has been far too long since a rebel raged through town.

As a kid, he always knew the “safe” life wasn’t for him. In order to tune out the fights of a broken home and the pressures of church, he’d crank Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, and Metallica on his stereo and play guitar as loud as his small Peavey amp would allow.
Music kept him away from drugs and other trouble, and his three patron saints became Axl Rose, Marilyn Manson, and Eminem. Beyond adorning his arm within a tattoo tapestry, he learned one important thing from these icons that eventually inspired him to move from the East Coast to Hollywood.

“It’s important to pave your own road,” declares Suicide. “I hit a ceiling. I had some opportunities that slipped away, and I woke up one day with the idea of ‘DAVEY SUICIDE’. I needed a constant reminder that we’re all in the driver’s seat. If I give up on myself, shit’s not going to go the way I want it to. I’d rather live by my rules than feel like I’m stuck inside a box. It’s about believing in yourself. Put your trust in SUICIDE.”

Outburn Magazine explains HELLBOUND & HEARTLESS is “a heavy and aggressive contrast to the band’s previous and more polished recordings,” while Artisan News Service claims, “If you’re a fan of ’90s-style heavy rock and industrial with Marilyn Manson -like theatrics thrown in, Vampires Everywhere might just be for you.” The music video for “Drug of Choice,” the single from HELLBOUND & HEARTLESS, can be seen here:

DAVEY SUICIDE set to Tour North America with ORGY

As January comes to an end, coupled with the ground swell of 2012 it is now safe to declare 2013 the “The Year of Suicide”. In support of his latest EP and forthcoming full length album, DAVEY SUICIDE has confirmed a host of North American tour dates beginning this February. The opening five dates of the run, February 23rd – 26th are the first ever headline shows for SUICIDE.

“The Northwest is a fitting way to kick off this year for us. Some of our craziest shows of 2012 were in Seattle, Portland Idaho Falls and Spokane.”

Following the headline dates DAVEY SUICIDE will hit the road in support of death pop rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere. The shows span the U.S. beginning on March 1st and are slated to run through April 15th. The first batch of dates have been released with additional dates to be announced in the upcoming days. SUICIDE cannot wait to hit the road with Orgy:

“Growing up, there was Korn, Deftones and Orgy at the forefront of the nu-metal genre. We’re excited to reacquaint that world with them and see our Suicide Nation.”

Life on the road can be tough and often expensive. To help offset these costs, DAVEY SUICIDE has launched a Kickstarer campaign. Donations to this campaign offer various perks based on the different donation amounts. Some of the one of a kind and amazing perks that are being offered include: custom vests, pants, gloves, hand sewn Cross Your Heart phone cases, memorabilia from video shoots, limited edition signed & numbered posters & prints, phone calls from the band, Skype bass lessons, stage worn shirts, a personal tattoo session with DAVEY, and an exclusive private acoustic performance at your house. Be sure to visit http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/daveysuicide/kickstart-our-3?ref=email and support the band that puts the art back into the artist.
