JEFFREY NOTHING Releases Official Music Video for “The Outage” Featuring Former Members of MUSHROOMHEAD & MOTOGRATER

JEFFREY NOTHING, former vocalist of industrial metal band MUSHROOMHEAD, has released the official music video for his newest single, “The Outage.” Directed by Ian D. Sniesak and edited and shot by Jon Conner of A Hole in the Head Productions, with assisted videography by Thomas Church and Aj Taranto, the dark music saga features former members of MOTOGRATER and SKIN alongside the legendary front-man as well as former MUSHROOMHEAD guitarist, Thomas Church.

We all come with an expiration date. From our first breath, till our last, we are a miracle in motion; full of emotion, fears, and an air of invincibility. How we treat our fellow man and our life matters. Other than love, you sincerely can’t take it with you. Above is a place I pray to one day be, not a circle I put myself in as I traverse this lifetime. Freedom means everything. All complexes aside, we have no owners. Dream big and share your soul… I, for one, will be listening. So many trash their bodies and minds and feel they just get to wake up from whatever mistake they just made no matter what. It is so heartbreaking to watch a generation be wiped out because they truly believe they are invincible. We are not. Risking oneself for that ever-elusive first high destroys far more than the singular self. Parents never want to outlive their children. You are not that invincible person who will beat any challenge, just because. Stop for one second and be that miracle baby again. Not the almost adult who crushed everyone’s dreams, all because you wanted to escape a temporary nightmare. Death is the end, not a new beginning. Ever.” – Jeffrey Nothing

Life is full of hardships, challenges, tribulations… It can be difficult in the moments of pain to see through to the other side, that there’s a way to come out victorious. It can be easy to compromise or give in to something that offers a moment of relief; a temporary solution to a problem that might turn into a permanent consequence. It can be easy to think that you will remain in control but more often than not what we think we control ends up controlling us. Pain and trauma are the real gateway drugs and until we learn to face the pain and overcome we will continue the cycle of abuse, be it substance or other. If we don’t, addiction ends up being in control. It destroys what’s beautiful, and then dances and parades what remains around for all the world to see. It can be easy to become ensnared in the prisons of our mind. If we take a close look at ourselves in the midst of our addiction, it can seem as if we are suffocating, wrapped in the fake plastic of the lies we believe that have now led us to the predicament we are in.

Acknowledging there is a problem is the first step. Then we must fight, for our freedom and for our lives, one day at a time.” – Ian D Sniesak (Vocals)

ONE-EYED DOLL Debuts Music Video for “Be My Friend”

“Serial killers are people too, if you take away the voices I’m just like you…”
Goth-punk duo One-Eyed Doll have announced the release of aremixed… remastered… and reMONSTERED version of their classic 2008 album, Monster.

In addition to being remixed at the world class studio of legendary, Grammy award-winning producerSylvia Massy [Tool, System Of A Down, Johnny Cash], all of the drums on ReMonstered were re-recorded by the band’s current drummer Junior, who joined the group just after the original release in 2008.  The new version of the album will also feature One-Eyed Doll’s first-ever cover song “I Am A Viking,” originally performed by Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force.

To accompany the new release, One-Eyed Doll has debuted a music video for “Be My Friend” withRevolver Magazine.  Directed by Patrick Kendall [Megadeth, Incubus, Sevendust], the creepy video features cameos by Waylon and Jeffrey Nothing of Mushroomhead and can be seen HERE.

AMERICAS BLUE COLLAR BAND: XFactor1/Appearing w/Mushroomhead 10/24 @Altar Bar

Coming to Pittsburgh’s Altar Bar on the RETURN TO DECADENCE TOUR with Mushroomhead for their 20th Anniversary Tour is Columbus, Ohio’s very own XFactor1.  XFactor1 was formed during the brutal winter of 2006 with the intent of bringing decadence, intensity and the true meaning of music back to a rock and metal scene that was sounding pretty tame and had lost its connection with the people that matter the most, the fans.

Armed with only a 3 song demo (Generation Chaos) and a second to none passion to be seen and heard, the band started making an immediate name for themselves in the midwest region of the nations corn belt via word of mouth and through a strong showing at live shows with such national heavyweights as Hell Yeah, Godsmack, Stone Sour, Disturbed & more. New legions of fans called XNation instantly identified with the message and passion of the band. The desire was undeniable and prompted one writer to dub XFactor1 “Americas Blue Collar Band” after he witnessed the band members going person to person at a large festival talking to everyone they could about the band and how grateful they were for everyone’s support. Humble, hard working. REAL.

To date, XFactor1 has sold over 50,000 units combined of their EP (Something Inside), 1 CD/DVD combo (Live Another Day), 2 full length Cd’s (American Dream/Hope For Tomorrow) and in 2011 charted for 4 weeks on Billboards Heatseeker charts for the NE/Central US region. Coming in as high as #2. XFactor1 has also been a feature band on various regional/national compilation cds from sources such as Metal Edge Magazine and more. In 2010, their strongest sponsor, Jagermeister included them on over 125,000 download cards that was distributed all over the United States at the Mayhem tour. In 2011, Red Bull named XFactor1 a top 5 band to watch. Furthering their status as a band on the move and a force to be reckoned with.

In 2012, XFactor1 signed to MRi/Megaforce to extend the reach for the release of their most ambitious and rock solid release to date, Famous.Last.Words. The defining formula that personifies who they are, what they believe in and the dreams that we all live for. A thirteen song collection of today’s real world realities through the eyes of a real world band.

Don’t miss a great line up at Altar Bar 10/24!

ONE-EYED DOLL Releases Music Video

Power rock duo ONE-EYED DOLL has teamed up with Artix Entertainment’s popular, multi-player online video game AdventureQuest Worldsto premiere the new music video for their song “Committed.” Artix Entertainmentwill make the video available to over 150 million registered users by hosting it in-game, in a virtual insane asylum. The eerie video was directed by Patrick Kendall [Megadeth, Incubus, Theory of a Deadman] and is for the lead song and title-track off of ONE-EYED DOLL’s forthcoming album, COMMITTED.

For ONE-EYED DOLL fans that are not AdventureQuest Worlds players, the music video for “Committed” is being hosted by premier rock outlet Revolver Magazine on their website. Kimberly was recently featured in Revolver Magazine’s “Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock” Issue, and her complete interview can be read here:http://www.revolvermag.com/news/the-complete-interview-hot-chick-in-hard-rock-kimberly-freeman-of-one-eyed-doll.html

Due out in early 2013, COMMITTED will be the band’s fifth independently released album. Produced by multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning producer Sylvia Massy [Tool, Johnny Cash, Prince, The Red Hot Chili Peppers], COMMITTED offers 11 hard rocking tracks with addictive melodies, soulful, thought-provoking lyrics and perfect harmonies.

In addition to the video premiere, AdventureQuest Worlds will be putting out an album of ONE-EYED DOLL songs on October 31st. Titled SOMETHING ABOUT A DRAGON, the disc will feature songs that have been used in the game, and will be the first time some of the more popular tracks including “You’re A Vampire” and “Battle On,” will be available on CD. The first batch of these CD’s will be available exclusively at HeroMart (www.heromart.com) and at live shows. The download will also be available on ONE-EYED DOLL’s music site,www.music.oneeyeddoll.com.

A true DIY success story, ONE-EYED DOLL has been sweeping the nation since early 2011 with their addictive live show that is being called one of the most captivating and interesting performances of recent times. Adored by fans and press alike, within the past two years, the band has landed direct support slots with Orgy, Mushroomhead, Cold and Peelander Z, and has also toured with Wayne Static/Static X and Otep.

SAINT DIABLO to Release Album with Eclipse Records

Spawned from Central Virginia, SAINT DIABLO is an unmovable force to be reckoned with. Bringing with them a fresh and unique tone of hardcore metal and Latino melodies, the band is set stun heavy music fans with the release of their new album, entitled Saint Diablo, on July 10, 2012. The new record is the third full-length from the band and is being released through Eclipse Records (Mushroomhead, Scum of the Earth). Known as a live show powerhouse, the band is ready to push that power to the masses with their biggest record yet.

“This new CD, Saint Diablo, is a combined effort of so many wonderful people. We have such an awesome group of investors, supporters, handlers, and producers behind the curtain that I see this CD as just the BEGINING of the future,” states vocalist Tito Quinones. “For example, we have always done bilingual music and blended multi-cultural aspects of rock, metal, and groove; but this time we are also doing entirely Spanish versions of some if our most favorite tunes. We did this to expand our musical horizons, make new fans in countries and cultures that would otherwise have language barriers, and to have fun.”

Since 1995, the band has had eight independent releases. In 2003, the band released their debut album, which featured the Grammy-nominated artist Anousheh Khalili on ‘Why Now?’. Also, the singles ‘Senoria Paranoia’ and ‘Renaissance’ pushed the band through new barriers and helped land them a spot on the 2003 Eat’M Showcase in Las Vegas and Salem Or-be Tour featuring Busta Rhymes in New York. In 2008, the band released REPUBLICA through 925 Records. The band has also been featured on many nationally released compilations produced by Project Independent, StreetTeam.com, and Royal Blunts.

As mentioned above, SAINT DIABLO prides itself in performing on stage and bringing a raw, energetic live show to their fans every night. The band is set to head out on a tour of several U.S. states with Slaves of Dope, running from July 24th in Rochester, NY to August 14th in Poughkeepsie, NY. Before and after the tour, the band has booked several additional east coast tour dates, including stops in Baltimore, MD, Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA and more. See below for all current tour dates.

Touring is the band’s lifeblood, and being known as “tour dogs” is what this band is all about. Sharing their life’s work with a devoted fan base that stretches all over the country, they think of their fans as friends and family. The band has logged as many as 200 shows in a single year, and has supported (or toured with) bands such as Slayer, Drowning Pool, Chimaira, Hatebreed, Devil Driver, Soulfly, Fear Factory, Mushroomhead, GWAR, Flaw, Busta Rhymes, and many others.

“Tour, I love being on tour! That’s our life blood,” adds guitarist Justin Adams. “Being on stage and performing for our fans is the grass roots of what we do. The energy, the smell, the taste of being in a packed room with a bunch of metal crazed fans, who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?! The interaction of the fans and meeting new people and hearing their stories all over the country… that’s what I look forward to on tour. It’s about the brotherhood of living in a van with your band mates and the experiences, things you have to overcome.”
