KILL DEVIL HILL premiere “Leave It All Behind” music video

KILL DEVIL HILL have partnered with REVOLVER MAGAZINE for the world premiere of “Leave It All Behind,” the first music video from the band’s sophomore studio release ‘REVOLUTION RISE’. The video can be watched now exclusively at revolvermag.com:

http://www.revolvermag.com/?p=57267

“We’re all fired up and ready to kick this year off right!” says bassist Rex Brown, whose autobiography ‘Official Truth – 101 Proof: The Official Story Of Pantera’ will be released in paperback March 24, 2014, with North American KILL DEVIL HILL tour dates to follow. “‘Leave It All Behind’ was shot with a very different approach for us. It’s a story board video that intertwines the band with a guy that has faced some apocalyptic demons in his own mind. We shot the video at an old missile site in Southern California that had been burned out by fires years ago. The story hits very close to home with the lyrical content of the song, which makes it even more surreal and sublime – we’ll leave the rest up to your interpretation!”

Featuring PANTERA and former DOWN bassist Rex Brown, former DIO, BLACK SABBATH and HEAVEN AND HELL drummer Vinny Appice, ex-PISSING RAZORS singer Dewey Bragg and acclaimed session/touring guitarist Mark Zavon, ‘REVOLUTION RISE’ was produced by KILL DEVIL HILL and Jeff Pilson, and mixed by Jay Ruston [STONE SOUR, ANTHRAX]. The album is available now in your favorite record stores, via iTunes (featuring exclusive bonus tracks “Revolution Rise” and an acoustic version of album closer “Life Goes On”), and at Amazon. Exclusive and unique bundles are also available through both CM Distro and the KILL DEVIL HILL online store.
A fixture on 2013 best-of lists, the album has fans and critics alike raving…

A spectacular sophomore effort that hits all the right buttons… Expertly played, pristinely produced, catchy (but not tacky) and richly textured, ‘REVOLUTION RISE’ is a monster of an album!” -About.com / Heavy Metal

An earthquake inducing album… The new record is a sweltering masterpiece that crackles with intensity and rhythmic syncopation.” -The Front Row Report

The first KILL DEVIL HILL record kicked everyone in the ass. The second, ‘REVOLUTION RISE’, will not only kick your ass, it will crush your ears and your mind as well…   It’s loud, it’s dirty, it’s KILL DEVIL HILL!” -The Hellion Rocks

Throw away the tired super-group label, KILL DEVIL HILL is simply one ass-kicking hard rock outfit making heavy as f*ck rock and roll music.” -Metalholic

This past summer BLACK WATER RISING released their sophomore album Pissed and Driven through Metalville/E1. The band is now ready to take the new songs on the road and will be doing so this fall supporting Kill Devil Hill (featuring Rex Brown and Vinny Appice).  The tour will also feature Eyes Set to Kill and Girl on Fire on select dates, and is set to kick off on October 26th in Ramona, CA and will wrap up November 23rd in Steger, IL.

Drummer Mike Meselsohn had this to say about the tour with Kill Devil Hill:

“We are beyond psyched to be hitting the road with Kill Devil Hill. This is a great fit for BWRand we are honored to be sharing the stage with Rex, Vinny and the guys. These shows are going to be killer and we look forward to bringing it live every night!”

Before they hit the road with Kill Devil Hill, BLACK WATER RISING will be playing a show this Friday October 18th at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ with Seven Witches.

Pissed and Driven is available on Amazon or iTunes.  The digital versions of Pissed and Driven feature an exclusive bonus track.  The album art was created by Jan Yrlund of Darkgrove Design (Manowar, TYR).

Invigorated and eager to capitalize on the success of their debut album, the band’s new material continues to be riff heavy and proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock and metal song writing with hooks and catchy choruses to pull you in and leave you wanting more.

GIRL ON FIRE to tour with 10 YEARS, KILL DEVIL HILL

Seattle rockers GIRL ON FIRE are returning to the road, joining 10 YEARS for a week of late October dates before sharing a November run with Century Media Records labelmates KILL DEVIL HILL and EYES SET TO KILL. Also providing support on the KILL DEVIL HILL headlining tour will be BLACK WATER RISING (see dates below).

The upcoming tours are the latest chapter in the GIRL ON FIRE story, which is developing at radio with “The Takedown” and blossoming with ever-growing fan and media support nationwide. The single is the lead track from the band’s debut album ‘NOT BROKEN’ – click here to watch the official music video.

Taking STORY OF THE YEAR’s anthemic punch, TRUST COMPANY’s vocal melodies, later EIGHTEEN VISIONS swagger, and a bunch of early LINKIN PARK sneer, this is big shiny rock purposely built for radio… they are damn effective at what they do.” —Outburn

This album is everything you could want in a rock album and more… The album’s debut single ‘The Takedown’ could stand high atop the pedestal with the likes of many of the active rock hits from the past decade.” —New Transcendence (10/10)

GIRL ON FIRE’s energy gushes through the speakers when ‘Not Broken is properly cranked.  It is the type of album that makes you yearn to see the band live. …if GIRL ON FIRE can replicate the feel of their debut album in the live environment, it is certain to be a scorching good time for all in attendance.” —Helping Hands Rock Reviews

GIRL ON FIRE introduced ‘NOT BROKEN’ to America on the road in support of BUCKCHERRY, and joined HALESTORM for dates following a performance at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival September 14.

The band have released behind-the-scenes videos offering a look at the album’s recording process – click to watch the reports on drumsguitar and bass. You can also watch a five-track album sampler and lyric video here

The debut album was released September 3 and is available digitally via iTunes andAmazon, in record stores nationwide, and in exclusive bundles via CMDistro.com.

SPIRALARMS

Friends since the age of 15, Tim Narducci (Lead Vocals) and Craig Locicero (Lead Guitar) bonded over their love of heavy metal and hard rock music. Although the two remained friends throughout the years, they both went their separate ways and started bands of their own. After years of playing with their respective bands, the two friends contacted each other and decided it was time to start playing music together again, and in 2004 SPIRALARMS was born. Rounding out SPIRALARMS is Cornbread (Bass/Vocals), who had recorded and toured the US and Europe extensively with the band Vicious Rumors, Brad Barth (Keyboards), Anthony Traslavina (Guitars) and Ron Reeden (Drums).

Last, the band is no stranger to the road. With multiple West Coast tours, a U.S. tour in 2010, the band is comfortable with the hard work of touring to build a core audience. SPIRALARMS has also been active playing out live supporting such acts as Black Label Society, MSG, Kill Devil Hill, and performing at Graspop 2007 with Iron Maiden. The band is currently finishing their new album, Freedom, set to be released soon.

ZED
San Francisco Bay Area’s ZED takes it cues from the greats like Zeppelin, Sabbath and AC/DC, but combines them with their contemporary musical influences such as Clutch, Rage Against the Machine and Queens of the Stone Age, creating a mixture that is new, yet familiar. ZED is Pete Sattari (Guitar/Vox), Rich Harris (Drums), Greg Lopez (Guitar), and Mark Aceves (Bass).
In April 2010, ZED released their first full-length album, The Invitation, which they had been brewing in the studio for over a year. The Invitation has a hard driving, aggressive sound but with solid groove that can’t be ignored. In June of 2012, ZED entered Sonic Room Studios with SPIRALARMS’ Tim Narducci engineering and producing their follow up to The Invitation. Word on the street? It’s their best work to date. The album is due this fall and will be included in their set during the Revivalution tour.

SWERVER
San Jose, CA veteran band SWERVER consists of Jimmy Arceneaux (Guitar/Vox), Dan Lawson (Drums) and Stevie Loveless (Bass). The band has been known to deliver heavy riffs, wrapped in memorable hooks, all served up with a slightly darker tone than their contemporaries. Tapping into heavy topics such as depression, racism, and various addictions, SWERVER reaches out to the fans who listen to music, rather than those who just hear it.

SPIRALARMS Announces “Revivalution Tour 2012”

Directly supporting SPIRALARMS will be California rock n’ rollers ZED and alt-rockers SWERVER will open each show. See directly below for all current tour dates and learn more about the tour at www.facebook.com/Revivalutiontour.
