JOURNEY Founder, NEAL SCHON, and his wife MICHAELE SCHON continue to pursue justice in their attempts to resolve litigation involving the shocking assault of MICHAELE by a ESG SECURITY staff hired by an LIVE NATION at the JOURNEY concert at the ALLEN COUNTY WAR MEMORIAL COLISEUM in Fort Wayne, IN on March 14, 2017. LIVE NATION is now seeking to avoid obligations assumed as the promoter of the JOURNEY 2017 Tour through a motion for summary judgment, including their obligation to ensure the safety of the members of JOURNEY and the Band’s entourage, which argument will be presented to the Court on November 6, 2020. Prior to the incident, the SCHONS had implemented direct security services for MICHAELE and JOURNEY at their own cost, but were informed that such would not be allowed and they would be required to rely on the security services provided by LIVE NATION, which exchange was witnessed by and testified to by legal representation for the SCHONS, JAMES A.QUADRA (see Affidavit from Court Record HERE).

MICHAELE has, for the previous twelve years, been at the stage filming the band’s performances and so she is a well recognized and identifiable presence among fans, crew, and staff, and is introduced nightly to security personel. Depositions by JOURNEY security staff RICHIE SURRENCY and LEO STAUB provide extensive support for the assault and negligence claims, with both security officers witnessing FRANZ putting his hands on MICHAELE, JOURNEY security staff’s response, including RICHIE’S, to rescue her, her running from the area, and FRANZ’s restraint and removal. STAUB further testified to seeing the security video showing the full assault which subsequently was altered with the incriminating footage missing, and evidentiary cameras and recording equipment now inexplicably missing from the venue (see altered video below). Depositions had been scheduled with NEAL SCHON for 10/29/2020, however, LIVE NATION has since sought to defer that deposition request of NEAL until after the 11/6/2020, rendering any further statement meaningless. Furthermore, deposition submitted by the previously untrained LIVE NATION / ESG staff member (FRANZ) in June 2019, further substantiated the claims concerning the defendant’s targeting and attack of MICHAELE.

Boys Noize Shares Unique Official Music Video “Stop”

Watch Snoop Dogg and Boys Noize perform “Got It” live for the first time this year at Ultra Music Festival HERE

Today, Boys Noize (aka Alexander Ridha) premieres his newest, uniquely interactive video “Stop” from his latest album Out Of The Black with Mashable HERE and experience the interactive version here at Boysnoize Records.

The French director BARZOLFF explains the video: I wanted to simulate an embedded camera on the wing of a plane during an acrobatic ballet. The patrol is composed of the famous ww2 air plane Corsair F4 & the final image reminds us the cover of the model box of our childhood. It’s a sarcastic video about peace & individualism, with the beauty of war for backdrop, the one you fight sky-high alongside your comrades, almost as if in a club with your buddies, showing off your new kicks and latest dance moves”.

Last month, Boysnoize Records released their iconic 100th release: a double A side single w/ “XTC” (The Chemical Brothers Remix) and “Ich R U” (Justice Remix) which is available digitally and as a limited 12” vinyl. Available digitally HERE and vinyl HERE.

Both Justice and The Chemical Brothers remixes are remixes of original tracks from the Out Of The Black full length that Boys Noize self-released last year to wide success. The album also featured the Snoop Dogg collaboration “Got It”, they performed the track live for the first time this year at Ultra Music Festival – you can see the live video HEREAlexander Ridha/Boys Noize will play at Coachella as Dog Blood, his group with Skrillex and is schedule to play live as Boys Noize at Bonnarroo as well as more American festivals to be announced.

Boysnoize Records (BNR) was founded by Boys Noize aka Alexander Ridha in the year 2005, in order to retain his full artistic freedom while releasing his own music under Boys Noize as well as under different monikers (Puzique, Einzeller, Eastwest) BNR became a home for multidirectional quality electronic music. The Berlin-based anarchist collective are celebrating their 100th deafeningly successful release incl. albums from high-ranked artists Spank Rock, Siriusmo, Housemeister, Shadow Dancer, EPs from Djedjotronic, Strip Steve, Boody & Le1f, Peaches and D.I.M., as well as BNR VOL.1 – a Best of double disc journey through 4 Years of scorching music – and of course BOYS NOIZE’s debut “Oi Oi Oi” (2007), “POWER” (2009) and “Out of The Black” (2012).
