In continued anticipation of their new release, IMPENDING DOOM are giving a full plate of teasers surrounding their new album “DEATH WILL REIGN” due out November 5th.

The band released the title track “Death Will Reign” last week, that can be streamed here.

Earlier this year we caught up with bassist David Sittig, he gave us some insight on what went into the making of “Death Will Reign.”

“We wanted this album to sound very natural and unpolished,” explains longtime bassist David Sittig, a part of the lineup since before the first album’s release. “There’s no crazy digital stuff. There are no fake drums. We wanted it to have the feel of our first album with the songwriting from the last one. We’ve gotten better at song structures and so forth over the years, but we wanted to recapture that old-school vibe, too.”

Impending Doom’s passionate approach to extreme metal continues to incorporate the strains of death metal, thrash metal, metalcore and deathcore that has been their stock-in-trade since 2005, with the modern metal approach of Slipknot, Lamb Of God and Fear Factory. There are also shades of the warm atmosphere for the Deftones.

Impending Doom Announce New LP

“DEATH WILL REIGN” OUT 11/5/13

Southern California Gorship outfitIMPENDING DOOM have announced an all new LP called Death Will Reign due outNovember 5, 2013 via eOne Music. Recorded, Produced and Mixed by Will Putney at the Machine Shop, this is the band’s most ferocious material to date. “Impending Doom have never sounded uglier and more desperate than on ‘Death Will Reign,’ says Alternative Press.

Impending Doom has crafted a stunning, deliberate and unrelenting collection with a sense of purpose, drive and continuity.“Death Will Reign” is the culmination of all that has come before, mining the bleak darkness and “scare” factor of last year’s“Baptized in Filth” and the dynamic fury of“There Will Be Violence” and “The Serpent Servant.”

All of those elements are injected with the return of the gritty rawness found within the unpolished grind of “Nailed. Dead. Risen,” Impending Doom’s squealing cult-classic debut that introduced the world to their unique combination of reverent worship and sick gore-core, dubbed Goreship.

“We wanted this album to sound very natural and unpolished,” explains longtime bassist David Sittig, a part of the lineup since before the first album’s release. “There’s no crazy digital stuff. There are no fake drums. We wanted it to have the feel of our first album with the songwriting from the last one. BEYOND DISHONOR Release New ‘Breaking Bad’ Inspired Music Video for ‘Heisenberg’

Featured in NJ’s The Aquarian Weekly as this Week’s Local “Buzz” Band – Read Here

*BEYOND DISHONOR is looking for management, label and booking agent interest. To inquire, please contact booking@beyonddishonor.com.*

Trenton, New Jersey metalcore mainstays BEYOND DISHONOR have released a music video for their first single, entitled ‘Heisenberg’, today via their official YouTube channel. Watch here –http://youtu.be/BLRfAGgK23Y. Any fan of the hit television drama ‘Breaking Bad’ will immediately recognize that ‘Heisenberg’ is a tribute to the popular show— complete with yellow meth lab suits, greasy cigar-smoking drug kingpins, shady factory laboratories galore and more. ‘Heisenberg’ is cut from the band’s upcoming EP Generations, set to drop in June 2013.

“It’s an obvious homage to one of our favorite pieces of entertainment, but it is wrapped around a stronger metaphor – just as Walt perfects the formula against his better judgement, so too are we forced to find and perfect the formula for notice and respect in this tumultuous industry and genre,” states lead vocalist Reese Dunlap. “That theme is referenced throughout the song, and goes one step further in the video, where we are, in a sense, a victim of this formulaic control. It is only when we have ‘perfected the formula’ that we can finally escape mediocrity.”

Breaking free of the norm is exactly what BEYOND DISHONOR plans to do with their new EP Generations, which boasts production credits from acclaimed producer Andreas Magnusson, known for his work with The Black Dahlia MurderImpending DoomThis or The Apocalypse and more. The five-piece combines eclectic styles and ranging influences to create music that is devastatingly heavy and aggressive enough for the most hardcore of fans, yet rhythmic and groovy enough to be accessible to those on the fringe. In a recent write-up, Heavyblogisheavy.com said, “The music lands on the good side of the contemporary metalcore/deathcore spectrum, for fans of early Born of Osiris (sans keyboards) or Within the Ruins.”

Drawing inspiration from pop culture, primarily in the form of movies, television and gaming, is one of countless ways BEYOND DISHONOR has garnered fans in the local and national metal scene since they formed in late 2006. Their 2011 full-length, Travesty, is a well-received concept album drawing from band favorites Se7en, Ghostbusters and Full Metal Jacket. In similar fashion, Generations features pop culture references evident in song titles like ‘ED209 vs. The Staircase’ (RoboCop) and ‘What Clayton Bigsby Doesn’t Know’ (Chappelle’s Show).

In the state of New Jersey and even nationally, BEYOND DISHONOR asserts one of the strongest DIY success stories in a very challenging genre. The band churns out a staggering 70+ self-funded shows a year— without any label, booking agency, or management assistance. BEYOND DISHONOR is pushing 5,000+ fans on their official Facebook page and 10,000+ on Twitter— essentially commanding the attention of East coast metal fans with each and every post. Much of their success stems from the overwhelming support and praise provided by the many nationally-recognized artists they have supported, including Unearth, Chimaira, August Burns Red, Attack Attack, All Shall Perish, Winds of Plague, Born of Osiris, Suffocation, Emmure, and numerous others.

This past February, BEYOND DISHONOR won the Trenton, NJ date of the Sumerian Records “Headband for the Highway” competition, which was a touring “battle of the bands”-style performance competition in which bands from each market were chosen to perform on a large summer festival date. As the winner, the band was selected to perform on a local date of the All Stars Tour (this year featuring Every Time I DieChelsea GrinVeil of Maya and more). Specifics regarding this performance are set to be announced soon.

BEYOND DISHONOR will head out on a 13-date east coast trek beginning April 12th. Several dates include performances with internationally-recognized artists such as Miss May I, Whitechapel, Texas in July and more, plus a stop at the annual Launch Music Conference in Lancaster, PA. Century Media Records unites with SOAR in new label deal

Century Media Records has announced a worldwide partnership with reputable UK indie Siege Of Amida Records (known as SOAR).

This new deal sees SOAR utilized as a central launch pad for the Metal and Hardcore genres, focusing predominantly on the increasingly vibrant UK underground scene and launching emerging international acts onto the circuit.

Century Media is one of the leading independent labels in the industry, boasting a gigantic back catalogue and a roster that spans almost every sub-genre within the sphere, as well as a reputation for being one of the strongest metal labels in the world.

Century Media label manager Antje Lange says of the deal: “We feel honoured and excited to work with the highly acclaimed label Siege Of Amida. They’ve proved that they have the Midas touch and the instinct for catching great new bands early and we are confident that we can put the label to the next level, on a worldwide basis.”

After starting the careers of the likes of WHITECHAPEL, ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, HEART IN HAND, INGESTED, TRC and DYSCARNATE, as well as being the European vessel for US bands such as IMPENDING DOOM and MOLOTOV SOLUTION, SOAR is reputed for being one of the leading labels spearheading a movement of new exciting bands within extreme music. Many of their past bands are now with larger, internationally established labels such as Metal Blade, Victory, eOne and Nuclear Blast; this deal sees them no longer in the shadow of larger labels and able to compete with the heavyweights on every level.

SOAR Director Jamie Graham adds: “After 6 years of building this label from a comparatively low level, starting out in our bedrooms, we looked back at our catalogue of releases and at the bands that moved onto bigger labels and our current roster. We realized we had something special to build on there- Century and their team understand the vision I have for this label and this deal allows our distribution and promotional network to increase a hundred fold. Working with a company as diverse, reputable and ambitious as Century Media in order to take SOAR to the next stage is the logical step for us to take. It will mean great things for our artists and for the labels growth as a whole.”

The first release to emerge from this new partnership will be from fast-rising UK crew HEART IN HAND, releasing their second full length Almost There on May 13th.

As a sponsor, BANDHAPPY will offer a unique service for fans and bands alike on each date of the tour. BANDHAPPY is providing an official “BANDHAPPY Lesson Tent” where fans/attendees will be able to take lessons from their favorite bands/musicians on the Vans Warped Tour. Since launch, BANDHAPPY has serviced thousands of students in over 100 countries learning daily on the site by either live video chat or in-person while artists are on tour.

At the Vans Warped Tour, BANDHAPPY lessons can include anything from instrument and vocal lessons, to lessons about songwriting, marketing, image, management, gear walk-throughs, or anything else relating to the music industry. Take a trip over to www.bandhappy.com/warpedtour and check out all of the new details, as well as to vote for which artists you would like lessons from (and on what instrument) in each city.

All BANDHAPPY lessons will take place in the official BANDHAPPY Lesson Tent and can be pre-purchased at the link above, or via cash or credit card on day-of-show. Initially, BANDHAPPY will be offering pre-sale lessons for fans via http://www.bandhappy.com/warpedtour from members of Bayside, Born of Osiris, The Streetlight Manifesto, After the Burial, Vanna, iwrestledabearonce, Impending Doom, Chelsea Grin, and many more!

Not only a great tool for fans attending the festival, this is a great opportunity for bands to become teachers on the tour as well. Lessons can be taught in a band’s down time every day, and while this is definitely a way for them to make additional money, it’s so much more than that. Both BANDHAPPY and Vans Warped Tour will be heavily promoting BANDHAPPY and its teachers. There will be a vast amount of articles, interviews, blogs, posts, etc. about this service, and the bands who take part in it.

Bands can use BANDHAPPY to book and provide online lessons to their students with the built in video chat setup, or book private, in person lessons at home or on tour.
