HAERTS “Wings” Single of the Week on iTunes + new video

BAND PLAYS NYC’S WEBSTER HALL
AND ROUGH TRADE IN DECEMBER

Watch a brand new video clip of “Wings” here: http://smarturl.it/thisiswings.

(Columbia Records; New York, NY – November 26, 2013) – HAERTS’ soaring single “Wings” has been named iTunes’ ‘Single of the Week.’ Download the song today: iTunes.com/Haerts.

“Irresistible,” exudes Stereogum, while Seattle’s KEXP says, “’Wings’ is about as flawless as pop tunes come.” “One of the most unstoppable songs of the last year,” exclaims Gorilla vs. Bear, while Under The Radar raves that the track soars “with shimmery, ’80s-evoking textures and the kind of cloud-climbing vocal work from [lead vocalist Nini] Fabi that can’t help but channel vintage Stevie Nicks.”

Also this week, Starbucks’ ‘Pick of the Week’ is Felix Cartal’s “Slow Motion” (feat. HAERTS). The track is featured on the compilation Dance (RED) Saves Lives, Vol. 2, which is available now.

HAERTS released their debut EP, Hemiplegia, this fall via Columbia Records. The collection, produced by friend and label mate Jean-Philip Grobler of St. Lucia, features breakout tracks “Wings” and “All The Days” in addition to “All For You” and the EP’s title track. HAERTS are currently in the studio recording their full-length debut, expected this coming spring.

HAERTS will end what’s been a spectacular 2013 by joining The 1975 for a sold-out show at New York City’s Webster Hall on December 17. In addition, the band will headline Rough Trade NYC on December 20. HAERTS has recently toured with Washed Out, Shout Out Louds, Atlas Genius, and Fitz And The Tantrums.

HAERTS is Nini Fabi, Ben Gebert, Garrett Ienner and Derek McWilliams.

HAERTS Hemiplegia EP out now, play CMJ Festival + Interview Magazine premieres “All The Days”

Today, Interview Magazine exclusively shares HAERTS’ “All The Days” (Lissvik Remix) HERE, a day after the New York band released their four track Hemiplegia EP via Columbia Records (10/8). Last week, HAERTS partnered with Spotify to premiere the EP a week early on NYLON Magazine HERE. The band just finished up their tour withWashed Out, and will play the Neon Gold Records Showcase and a KEXP Live Session in New York at the CMJ Festival.
About the EP artwork, the band says: “The cover art is based on two images that have been meaningful to us and capture the title, sound and feel of “Hemiplegia”.  Gerhard Richter’s Cloud is the first image we used as band and has always remained significant. In our search for an image for “Hemiplegia,” we drew from another of Richter’s most haunting works from the 70s, titled I.G.. His treatment of the body, impossibly and eternally suspended in a moment, emotes the sense of paralysis found in the track “Hemiplegia.” This is why we chose to interpret I.G. with a photograph of Nini set against the cloud”.

HAERTS is a band based in New York hailing from Germany, England, and the United States. The group consists of Nini Fabi, Ben Gebert, Garrett Ienner, Derek McWilliams, and Jonathan Schmidt. The EP was produced in collaboration with Jean-Philip Grobler (aka St. Lucia). Late last year, the band revealed their first song “Wings” . In April, they collaborated with Emily Kai Bock for the gorgeous official “Wings” video.

The band has shared their upcoming album live on tours with Shout Out Louds, Atlas Genius, Fitz And The Tantrums and Washed Out. HAERTS’ debut album is due in 2014.

Recent praise for HAERTS:

“‘All The Days,’ produced by St. Lucia, roars and surges and twinkles, with lead singer Nini Fabi’s haunting vocal floating in and out under waves of ’80s instrumentation. You just have to hear it.” – Idolator

“[‘All The Days’ is] another soaring, thoroughly rousing anthem from HAERTS. As good as their other song [‘Wings’], which officially makes them 2 for 2.” – Gorilla Vs. Bear

“[‘All The Days’ is] ripe for a top-down cruise to, well, anywhere. Your summer playlist just got a headliner.”  Elle

“‘Wings’ is about as flawless as pop tunes come.” – KEXP

Full Moon 2013 is New York’s not-to-be-missed summer music event, blurring the line between festival and dance party. In 2012, Full Moon was attended by over 2,500 of New York’s finest and written up by titles such as Bullett Magazine, NY Mag and VICE.

Full Moon will be also be raising awareness for theFleet4HearMe music project, employing Fleet Jewelrypieces as All Access passes for Artists & Press.

Using the passes for access references the Fleet4HearMe philosophy to empower children in orphanages around the world to make music.
