Them Guns hit the ground running in 2013, in sunny Santa Cruz, a place that’s as much a paradise as it is dark. Founded by principal songwriters Navarone Garibaldi (interestingly, the son of Priscilla Presley) and long-time friend Kyle Hamood. The two found their styles to mesh well and began regularly writing and recording. Things were rounded out by drummer Lorenzo Perez and bassist Chuck Holiday. With new music coming soon and extensive touring ahead, Them Guns will be lighting it up in your neighborhood soon.

Fireworks Announce New Album, “Oh, Common Life”, Join The Wonder Years Spring Tour

Fireworks, the five-piece band from Detroit, MI are thrilled to announce their upcoming album “Oh, Common Life” available March 25th via Triple Crown Records! The band reunited with Brian McTernan, (Circa Survive, Thrice, Balance and Composure) the man who drove the ship on their critically acclaimed previous release “Gospel”, for production on “Oh, Common Life” in September and October of 2013. What emerged were 11 songs that make up what is by far Fireworks’ most personal album to date.

“This is a record of self-realization. It’s all pretty self-absorbed and personal, and it all came from within. When we show it to people close to us, it can get uncomfortable because of how personal and relatable it is.” says guitarist and back up vocalist, Chris Mojan.

“We were able to break everything down when we were writing,” Mojan continues. “I think that shows on the album. It’s complete honesty.”

Songs from the new album will see release very soon.

“Oh, Common Life” Track Listing:

1. Glowing Crosses

2. Bed Sores

3.The Back Window’s Down

4. Flies on Tape

5. Woods

6. Play God Only Knows At My Funeral

7. One More Creature Dizzy With Love

8. The Only Thing That Haunts This House is Me

9.The Sound of Young America

10. Run, Brother, Run

11. The Hotbed of Life

“Oh, Common Life” is a rock record that does whatever it wants to do – but from the familiar aggressiveness of the opening “Glowing Crosses” to the ranging pop vocals of “Flies on Tape” to the spine-shivering intensity of the guitars on “One More Creature Dizzy With Love,” nothing ever feels out of place. It’s proof that Fireworks has reached a point where it can do what it likes – and do it well.

Fireworks are also excited to announce that they will join Philadelphia’s The Wonder Years on their upcoming spring headliner with Citizen, Real Friends and Modern Baseball! The tour kicks off March 5th in Clifton Park, NY at The Upstate Concert Hall. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here:

Composed of vocalist David Mackinder, lead guitarist Brett Jones, guitarist Chris Mojan, bassist Kyle O’Neil and keyboardist Adam Mercer, Fireworks is a band filled with electric personalities and endless influences, who have shared the stage with acts such as New Found Glory, Saves The Day, The Starting Line, All Time Low and many more.

THE WONDER YEARS To Release New Album The Greatest Generation on May 14th

The Wonder Years will be releasing their new album, The Greatest Generation, via Hopeless Records on May 14th, 2013.The album was produced and engineered by Steve Evetts (Saves the Day, Lifetime, Every Time I Die), and mixed by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Motion City Soundtrack). The band will appear on the entire 2013 Vans Warped Tour Main Stage, as well as heading out on their Spring headliner tour with FireworksHostage Calm, and Misser, kicking off on March 8th inAsbury ParkNJ. For more information or to purchase tickets, please

Consisting of Dan “Soupy” Campbell (lead singer), Casey Cavaliere (guitarist),Matt Brasch (guitarist), Nick Steinborn (keyboardist/guitarist), Joshua Martin(bassist), and Michael Kennedy (drummer)The Wonder Years are a band that started as something of a joke and grew to become recognized around the country, courtesy of a sloppy debut LP that flicked some sort of switch. Releasing TheUpsides in January 2010, a complete departure from The  Years’ early work, was just the beginning of an ongoing avalanche of momentum that has led the Philadelphia sextet to the forefront of the pop-punk community.

Engaging musicianship and intimate, instantly relatable lyricism made The Wonder Years a critical darling even before hordes of fans began to take notice. But it didn’t take long for everyone to jump on board. Signing to Hopeless Records with their brand of “realist pop-punk” and re-releasing The Upsides with bonus tracks brought about new buzz, and the release of the sprawling, 13-track concept record Suburbia I’ve Given You All and Now I’m Nothing in June of 2011 confirmed what many thought: The Wonder Years were for real.

Playing shows in basements, backyards and VFW halls the country over in its early years, the band had a DIY mentality long before it broke through to a larger audience. “The idea was that, for a long time, no one wanted to work with The Wonder Years so we said fuck it, we’ll do it ourselves,” Campbell says. “We didn’t need anyone else. We weren’t looking for charity. We were just going to cowboy up and fucking do it.”

The Wonder Years graced the cover of Alternative Press, played an entire summer on the Vans Warped Tour, and supportedNew Found Glory on the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour to close out 2011. They opened 2012 in a huge way, with the Glamour Kills Tour, which Campbell called the band’s “first big-boy headliner.” Leading Polar Bear ClubTransitThe Story So FarA Loss for Words, and Into It. Over It. across the country for six weeks of sold-out shows proved that The Wonder Years are still growing, still making new friends, and breaking new boundaries.

Now, with the bands new release, The Greatest Generationwe will get to see what The Wonder Years have in store for us in 2013. The band tells us, “We know that this is unequivocally our strongest, most honest and most heartfelt work to date. We can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store for this release.”

The Wonder Years will release The Greatest Generation via Hopeless Records on May 14th, 2013. For track listing and tour dates, see below.
