Denver, CO based dark rock artist SHARONE has released her hotly anticipated new album, Reflection.

Advance Praise for Reflection

“This Denver based singer/songwriter showed that she was adept at harnessing the chaos on her previous couple of albums and she’s really turning the gothic-art-pop-rock up on her latest long-player. It’s packed with dark fairytales and swooping riffs as well as more theatrical invention that you’d find at the Royal Shakespeare Company.” – The Crack Magazine

“In summary absolute female power, which reminds of EVANESCENCE and TARJA TURUNEN. This talented singer makes you curious about her live performances! 4.5/5” – Stormbringer.at

Channeling chaos into art, Sharone erupted onto the Denver music scene as a solo artist in 2014 playing local DIY venues; since then she has gone on to play venues such as Marquis TheaterBluebird Theater, and Gothic Theater, playing festivals, and opening for bands such as One-Eyed-DollThe Birthday MassacreFuelSaving AbelDavey SuicideTantricHell’s Belles, and Stitched Up Heart. The atmospheric and melodramatic music of Evanescence and the psychedelic blues of Black Sabbath inspired Sharone to start performing her music live, and to eventually release her 2017 demo album, Storm.

Despite sustaining a dark and nearly melancholy tone on recordings, the gothic artist’s live shows are nothing short of energetic, full of heavy piano riffs, pulsing rhythms, and enthralling theatrics. From emerging from a coffin to jumping off of monitors and captivating contortions, Sharone captures the interest of each audience member through her piercing stage chemistry with her live musicians, and her ever-growing theatrics.

In the spring of 2017, the singer left her mark on the Denver music scene with the release of her first rock album Storm. Following the release, underwent a complete lineup change in her band, and came back stronger than ever with the reincarnation of her dark sound: Enchiridion of Nightmares (2018).

“Like a series of dark fairy tales, Enchiridion of Nightmares the new album from dark [rocker] Sharone, captivates, seduces, and haunts. Each of its notes, let alone songs, comes with a shadow to [her] beauty, melancholy to [her] light, and intimacy to [her] grandeur with it all colluding in an adventure which just steals the imagination from everyday reality.

There is a rich cinematic and theatre-esque feel to Enchiridion of Nightmares which equally adds to its captivation; indeed its songs entwine an influence of horror movies, vintage and modern, into their personal nightmares. With just as richly layered and dramatic sounds to its exploration, the album is a persistent unveiling of new twists and shadows listen by listen. On our first meeting intrigue soaked the pleasure, through a couple more captivation, each subsequent listen leading to the inescapable bewitchment these words spring from.”
The Ringmaster Review

Sharone followed up the release with three exhilarating summer and fall tours, reaching audiences across the western, central, and eastern United States, and is currently working on her third studio album. This unique rock artist is destined for success in the metal and goth rock realm.

Sharone’s third studio album, ‘Reflection’, is due out December 7th, 2019.

SHARONE Releases Official Lyric Video for “Closer to Love”!

Art

Denver, CO based dark rock artist SHARONE has released the official lyric video for “Closer to Love,” the third single off of her upcoming LP, Reflection, due out December 7, 2019.

“This is my favorite song off of Reflection. It starts slow but just keeps building, so give it a chance. It’s a love song, but not one of those mushy gushy love songs. It’s honest. It has a really fun and dancey chorus and it just makes me smile. I present to you, ‘Closer To Love’”. Enjoy! – Sharone

Davey Suicide limited edition, signed and numbered art prints

From Davey Suicide…

Amidst, all of the writing and recording of the new album, I wanted to let you know what else has been going on in UnHolywood.

In between studio sessions with Needlz, I’ve been painting a ton.  I had never shared that side of my art with everyone until recently when I posted a few on my instagram.  Everyone started asking if I would make prints because the originals are normally sold, so I decided to make some.

Each of these prints are limited edition, signed and numbered (1-50).  I’ve attached a screen shot of some and will be rotating them on a regular basis.

PRINTS available here: http://daveysuicide.bigcartel.com/
Enjoy, thank you for supporting the habit & see you in November on the Revel Without a Cause Tour w/ William Control!!

DAVEY SUICIDE’s BRAND NEW VIDEO for “GOD HEAD KILLERS”

DaveySuicide sent us an email the other day with his brand new video and tour update:

An overdue hello from UnHolywood!

Well, we’re home from our first headlining run and we’re already knee deep into recording the second album.  Life is moving at a very rapid pace these days and we’re savoring every second.  You may have heard that we’re going out on tour with one of my favorite modern frontmen, William Control.  William almost brought us out a year ago but scheduling conflicts led us to postpone it.  Now, we’re doing it up and I’m kind of glad we waited.  This tour, we’re hitting a lot of new U.S. cities and Canada for the first time.  We’re also returning to some cities that we haven’t been back to since the Scene is Dead Tour.  I think you’ll like the list.  Unfortunately, we’re not doing VIP on this tour but we’ll do our best to meet everyone.  You guys know, we cherish you.
For those that don’t know, we released our music video for God Head Killers, as well.  Needlz directed and edited this, and we ran lights and shot the video ourselves.  It was a cool bonding experience at an abandoned insane asylum, on an off-day in freezing Connecticut.  I think we captured the old skool vibe that we wanted and noone else is doing video like this right now.  Enjoy it below!
Who knows, the more we get done on the new record, the more likely we are to debut some new material on this next tour.  No promises, but expect the unexpected and thank you for supporting the habit.
We are forever strong <+3

THE DEFILED BASSIST VINCENT HYDE PULLS DOUBLE-DUTY ON MAIDEN U.S. TOUR

Vincent Hyde, bassist for THE DEFILED from London, is performing double-duty on the band’s current maiden tour of the U.S.  His opening set is with his bandmates in THE DEFILED and his second set is with “Hide Your Morals” tour headliners Davey Suicide.

“I had about half a day to learn Davey’s set,” states Hyde from somewhere in Texas en route to Austin. “There’s nothing preventative I do to avoid getting things like tendonitis or carpal tunnel.  In my opinion, there’s no fun in playing it too safe – although the only thing I do avoid is having a guitar or a keyboard impale me!  While I’m not really a fan of current bands covering other current bands’ tunes, if there was one song I could pick off our new Daggers album for Davey to perform, it would be ‘Infected.’”

Daggers, THE DEFILED’s second studio release, is due out in North America on August 6th and was recorded at Audio Hammer Studios in Florida with producer/engineer Jason Suecof (Death Angel, Job For A Cowboy, Atheist, Charred Walls Of The Damned).

THE DEFILED have made a name for themselves as one of the hottest bands on the U.K. metal scene and come across the Atlantic armed with an irrepressible combination of punishingly heavy riffs & melodies that has won the band an army of fans & high praise from the U.K. press in addition to a Metal Hammer Golden God Award for “Best British Newcomer.”

“Unspoken” is THE DEFILED’s official music video: http://bit.ly/13iSDoL.

A free download (e-mail required) of the “Unspoken” remix by keyboard player The AvD is available here: http://bit.ly/UnspokenRemix.

Davey Suicide Lives Up to the Hype in Pittsburgh

“So, did we live up to the hype?”  This is what Davey Suicide questions me after his bands’ set at Altar Bar in Pittsburgh.  I definitely think Davey and his band lived up to the hype and I personally had a great time experiencing an up and coming band making all the right moves and following their passion.  With a sound and visual aspect part Manson part NIN all electro goth fury, Davey Suicide provides what many bands have forgotten in this day and age…the show.  They prove that a band on a budget can still provide quite a bang for the buck ( Davey and company actually did a kickstarter campaign to get a lot of their stage lights and set).  Davey is  very ambitious, intelligent, well spoken, and  poised to make a name in a very tough business as you will see in this interview…

Alternative Press has named DAVEY SUICIDE as one of the “100 Bands You Need to Know This Year”. The issue features can be picked up HEREDAVEY will also be taking part in the Alternative Press “100 Bands You Need to Know” Party during this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 16th.

The album which will be released March 19th is now available for pre-order in exclusive bundle packages HERE. It will also be available on tour.

DAVEY SUICIDE is currently on the road rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere on the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” which started March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ and runs through April 15th in Los Angeles, CA.

DAVEY SUICIDE is ready to set the world ablaze. On his self-titled debut album, the Los Angeles insurgent injects gutter grit back into rock ‘n’ roll. It’s been far too long since a rebel raged through town with distortion blaring, middle fingers in the air, girls dropping their panties, and flames everywhere. Flanked by bandmates Frankie Sil [Bass], Drayven Davidson [Drums], Needlz [Keyboards], and Ashes [Guitar], he distills heavy metal, industrial, and punk into anthems that are as corrosive as they are catchy. Whether or not you’re prepared, Suicide has arrived.

On stage, it comes together with a brutal bombast. For Suicide, the show is paramount. “We’ve assembled five guys who are essentially front-men in their own right,” he adds. “I wanted to have all of the bullets in the chamber and fire them off at once. That’s what we’re about to do.”

That blast is going to leave a big mark, and things may never be the same. Welcome to generation fuck star, and say hello to your new leader, DAVEY SUICIDE!

DAVEY SUICIDE Named One of Alternative Press’s 100 Bands You Need to Know This Year

Pittsburgh Music Magazine will be interviewing Davey when he hits Pittsburgh, March 27 at Altar Bar…

Pre-Orders For Debut LP Available Now

Continuing the full out onslaught leading up to the release of DAVEY SUICIDE‘s full length debut Alternative Press Magazine has named DAVEY SUICIDE as one of the “100 Bands You Need to Know This Year”.

DAVEY SUICIDE will wrap up his headlining tour tonight in Portland, OR tonight and then will be joining up with Orgy and Vampires Everywhere for the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” starting March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ.

Following the headline dates, DAVEY SUICIDE will be joining up with industrial rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere on the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” which starts March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ and runs through April 15th in Los Angeles, CA.

What you see with SUICIDE is what you get, and Suicide isn’t pulling any punches. Targeting hypocrisy, his unbridled honesty courses through the synth snarl of “Sick Suicide” and the stomping riff bitchslap of “Grab a Gun & Hide Your Morals.”

He also deliberately leaves no emotion untouched. Tracks like “Hustler Queen” and “Uncross Your Legs” ooze a dirty charm, while “I’ll Take a Bullet for You” is a mournful addiction elegy carried by a faint acoustic melody.

DAVEY SUICIDE to Release Self-Titled Debut March 19th/Appearing @ Altar Bar 3/27

Davey Suicide will be appearing at Altar Bar with Vampires Everywhere and Orgy on March 27

As the “Year of Suicide” rolls on, DAVEY SUICIDE has confirmed the release date for his self-titled full length debut. The album is set for a March 19th release via Standby Records. In support of the release, SUICIDE will be headed out on his first ever headlining tour kicking off February 22nd in Butte, MT.

Following the headline dates, DAVEY SUICIDE will be joining up with industrial rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere on the “Wide Awake and Dead Tour” which starts March 2nd in Phoenix, AZ and runs through April 14th in San Francisco, CA.

SUICIDE is ready to unleash his music to the masses across North America:

“I’m beyond excited to share our album with the world. I feel like a caged animal chewing through steel bars to break free to the other side.”

Alternative Press Magazine has just released their “100 Bands You Need to Know” Issue. The issue features SUICIDE as one of the highlighted artists and is available for purchase HERE. DAVEY will also be taking part in the Alternative Press “100 Bands You Need to Know” Party during this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 16th.

DAVEY SUICIDE is ready to set the world ablaze. The Los Angeles insurgent injects gutter grit back into rock ‘n’ roll, where it has been far too long since a rebel raged through town.

As a kid, he always knew the “safe” life wasn’t for him. In order to tune out the fights of a broken home and the pressures of church, he’d crank Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, and Metallica on his stereo and play guitar as loud as his small Peavey amp would allow.
Music kept him away from drugs and other trouble, and his three patron saints became Axl Rose, Marilyn Manson, and Eminem. Beyond adorning his arm within a tattoo tapestry, he learned one important thing from these icons that eventually inspired him to move from the East Coast to Hollywood.

“It’s important to pave your own road,” declares Suicide. “I hit a ceiling. I had some opportunities that slipped away, and I woke up one day with the idea of ‘DAVEY SUICIDE’. I needed a constant reminder that we’re all in the driver’s seat. If I give up on myself, shit’s not going to go the way I want it to. I’d rather live by my rules than feel like I’m stuck inside a box. It’s about believing in yourself. Put your trust in SUICIDE.”

DAVEY SUICIDE set to Tour North America with ORGY

As January comes to an end, coupled with the ground swell of 2012 it is now safe to declare 2013 the “The Year of Suicide”. In support of his latest EP and forthcoming full length album, DAVEY SUICIDE has confirmed a host of North American tour dates beginning this February. The opening five dates of the run, February 23rd – 26th are the first ever headline shows for SUICIDE.

“The Northwest is a fitting way to kick off this year for us. Some of our craziest shows of 2012 were in Seattle, Portland Idaho Falls and Spokane.”

Following the headline dates DAVEY SUICIDE will hit the road in support of death pop rockers Orgy and Vampires Everywhere. The shows span the U.S. beginning on March 1st and are slated to run through April 15th. The first batch of dates have been released with additional dates to be announced in the upcoming days. SUICIDE cannot wait to hit the road with Orgy:

“Growing up, there was Korn, Deftones and Orgy at the forefront of the nu-metal genre. We’re excited to reacquaint that world with them and see our Suicide Nation.”

Life on the road can be tough and often expensive. To help offset these costs, DAVEY SUICIDE has launched a Kickstarer campaign. Donations to this campaign offer various perks based on the different donation amounts. Some of the one of a kind and amazing perks that are being offered include: custom vests, pants, gloves, hand sewn Cross Your Heart phone cases, memorabilia from video shoots, limited edition signed & numbered posters & prints, phone calls from the band, Skype bass lessons, stage worn shirts, a personal tattoo session with DAVEY, and an exclusive private acoustic performance at your house. Be sure to visit http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/daveysuicide/kickstart-our-3?ref=email and support the band that puts the art back into the artist.

In support of the release, DAVEY SUICIDE will be on the road with Blood on the Dance Floor and Jeffree Star as part of “The Scene is Dead Tour”. The second leg of the tour kicks off November 21st in Las Vegas, NV and runs through December 15th in Tucson, AZ.

In celebration of the EP’s release, DAVEY SUICIDE and Standby Records have teamed up with Bloody Disgusting “Your number one source for all things horror” for an exclusive giveaway. Head over to the contest page HERE to enter for your chance to win a copy of the new EP Put Our Trust in Suicide.

In other DAVEY SUICIDE news, DAVEY was unfortunately unable to perform November 7th as he severed the tendon in his thumb and required last minute surgery. A picture of the injury (not for the faint of heart) can be viewed below. DAVEY is on the road to recovery and expects to resume touring when the second leg of “The Scene is Dead Tour” begins later this month.

DAVEY SUICIDE Put Our Trust in Suicide EP Out Today

Today sees the release of the new DAVEY SUICIDE EP Put Our Trust in Suicide. This EP features 4 blistering tracks including a remix of the song “Generation Fuck Star”. In support of the release, DAVEY SUICIDE will be on the road with Blood on the Dance Floor and Jeffree Star as part of “The Scene is Dead Tour”. The first leg wraps up today in Scottsdale, AZ at The Martini Ranch. The second leg of the tour kicks off November 21st in Las Vegas, NV and runs through December 15th in Tucson, AZ. A complete list of dates can be found below.

DAVEY SUICIDE is ready to set the world ablaze. The Los Angeles insurgent injects gutter grit back into rock ‘n’ roll. It’s been far too long since a rebel raged through town with distortion blaring and middle fingers in the air. It’s time for a new leader and with today being Election Day, the time is right to put your trust in SUICIDE. Flanked by bandmates Frankie Sil [Bass], Ben Graves [Drums], Needlz [Keyboards], and Eric Griffin [Guitar], he distills heavy metal, industrial, and punk into anthems that are as corrosive as they are catchy. Whether or not you’re prepared, SUICIDE has arrived.

Put Our Trust in Suicide is available for purchase HERE, and is also available as a special bundle package with an exclusive DAVEY SUICIDE t-shirt and 2 instant video downloads HERE.

The single “Generation Fuck Star” thrashes with intense industrialized guitar and an arena-ready hook. With a music video concept penned by Suicide himself, “Generation Fuck Star” is an unforgettable calling card both sonically and visually.

SUICIDE commented on the release of Put Our Trust in Suicide:

“We are in a time where we need to support bands that put the “art” back into the “artist.” So we can cut out the manufacturing bullshit from American Idol and the Voice. It starts with us, the real music fans and it starts today. We are the future. We are Generation Fuck Star.”
