DEAD GIRLS CORP Releases Official Music Video for Cover of Marilyn Manson’s “Great Big White World”

Hollywood, CA based Industrial band Dead Girls Corp. has released the official music video for their cover of the 1998 Marilyn Manson single, “Great Big White World,” via Monsterman Records, on Halloween.

“As Covid-19 cripples the world and continues mass shutdowns everywhere, and with the current amount of extreme civil unrest in the USA, Dead Girls Corp. took aim at recording the song ‘Great Big White World’ by Marilyn Manson whom Toddy Deadboy (vocals) worked for for 5 years as his personal assistant . We feel the song and video strongly captures this current period in time. Director/DP Stephen Readmond along with editor Alexis Johnston did a great job capturing this mood.”

In Hollywood, Ca, a dark alleyway forbodes, connecting Studio 56 and the Record Plant. Music legends of today and yesterday from ElvisMarilyn Monroe and Mel Torme holed themselves into these studios, all of them making records in the same one hundred yard radius. And, like many stories of legend, the lost replaced the heroes, the junkies replaced the giants, and Satan replaced Sinatra. In the middle, another entryway leads to DeadZone Sound Design. Home of Dead Girls Corp. for the past 10 years. Imagine Depeche Mode with a beat box through a distortion pedal , playing ultra pop at a Satanic disco. Dave Teague burns a hypnotic guitar straight into the psyche. Bruce Miyaki churns the vulgarity within the soul on his bass. Then Mel Mcfail hammers the earth like a sledge , forcing trauma to the body. And all of this abrasion is honed and torqued by the pop-evil song crafting of Toddy T..With the old millennium come and gone, the real Apocalyptic party is ready to begin….

BrokenRail Release New Single, “The Hate”

Birmingham, AL based , Hard Rock / Metal band BrokenRail has released the official music music video for their new single, “The Hate.” Written and recorded during the lockdowns, “The Hate” not only introduces an all new era of BrokenRail, but captures the raw emotion of being left behind in a world trapped with panic, chaos, unrest, uncertainty, and anxiety, reflecting the current state of the world facing lockdown, financial insecurity, social unrest, and the overall experience of living through a global pandemic. We must come together and accept our differences and find the common ground amongst us. United we are strong, divided we fall.

When writing ‘THE HATE’ we really wanted the song to not only showcase the abilities of each of our members, but to also reflect all of the negative emotion worldwide stemming from the virus and the lockdowns it caused. We feel between the song itself and the video we created we truly captured a snapshot of the current state of the world as COVID-19 helped fan the flames and fuel the fires of hate across our Earth. We hope you enjoy the new direction and we’re thrilled to bring you the new album later this year!” – Blake Clawson (Lead Vocalist)

BrokenRail signed a worldwide label deal late last year with LA based Cleopatra Records and spent January of 2020 in LA recording their first album with the label with longtime producer Joseph McQueen (As I Lay DyingBad WolvesUpon A Burning BodyLight The Torch) at Sparrow Sound. Like everyone else, the band came to a screeching halt early this year due to COVID-19.

“At first, our fans were showing up to have a good time and take their mind off their stresses. Soon after, they ended up finding that they have power… they can kick this virus right in its damn corona. We would set a goal. Then they would hit it. Then next week we’d set another goal. Then they’d hit that. Then the next week we’d set ANOTHER goal, then they would hit THAT. That for 9 weeks straight. Then we break the $10k mark. Having my mind blown on a regular basis like this is emotionally exhausting… in a good way.” – Josh

“It’s incredible that our fans are able to not only keep our silly band going, but to also directly contribute to helping fight the good fight! I hope to help out other bands as well by providing some sort of guidance on how to stream their own online concerts!” – Rob

“It’s beyond awesome to see people from all over the world come together digitally to let loose and forget about the world for a couple hours. It’s become the high point of my week and the thing I look forward to. Who knew Thursday afternoon could be so satisfying?! After touring for 10+ years it’s nice to rock IN for a change! Quarantine Shmarantine. It’s safe, you don’t have to worry about parking, and you don’t have to give Ticketmaster a kidney and spleen. ITS FREE! haha suck it Live Nation!” – Matty

“There are well over a million charities out there that we could choose to support, and some are obviously better run and more effective than others. To make sure the funds our fans so generously donate actually make a difference, we research and vet each and every one before moving forward to feature them on our livestreams. Rest assured, these are the best of the best. Besides, it is hilarious for a band known for songs about beer and tacos to be associated with some of the most illustrious organizations in the world.” – Alex
