I, Omega tracking debut album “Transients” w/ Producer Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, Trivium)

I, Omega is a progressive metal quintet from the Los Angeles area, dead set on creating a sound that is bold and unique, as well as easily digestible. Shredding guitars with fast, upbeat drumming, beefy bass lines, and vocals ranging from angelic to devilish, all with a punk rock attitude.  Their sound is heavy and complex, but also leaves room for rhythmic grooves and catchy choruses. I, Omega‘s music conjures up emotions crossing the spectrum of the listener’s scope, from menacing and technical wizardry, to tasteful and subtle harmony that’s sure to sway even the harshest of listeners. I, Omega is here to make a difference and defend the right to be different.
The band has been tracking their debut album “Transients” in Southern California with producer Daniel Castleman, who has done recent albums for As I Lay DyingSuicide SilenceTrivium, and many more. “I am grateful to be a part of the latest work “Transients,” by I, Omega.  I feel that the band has challenged themselves as musicians and artists to bring something fresh to their fans and reach out to some new ones.” – Daniel Castleman.
Transients” will be released on Bullet Tooth in early 2014 to coincide with US touring. I, Omega released their 5 song debut EP “The Ravenous” last year and you can listen to the title track at YouTube.
Singer and lyricist Clay Nevels commented on the new album, “Transients just seemed like the appropriate title for an album describing the past two years of our lives. We don’t have any misconceived notions about who we are nor do we think what we’re doing is important in the grand scheme of the world. We’re not doctors, firemen, scientists, etc…. We make music, we scrap by, we struggle for everything we have, but it’s a deliberate struggle and we appreciate the opportunities this life affords us.”
“We really tried to push the technical side and our abilities as musicians while still focusing on melody and memorable parts.  After spending the majority of a year working on this record, I think we’ve come up with something unique and I’m beyond stoked on what we’ve created. ” – Tommy Borboa (Guitar)

Artery Global Presents The Paramedic & One Year Later Summer Tour

The Paramedic Music Video for “Eddie Would Be Proud” now Streaming at YouTube

The Paramedic (Bullet Tooth) and One Year Later (CI Records) will be heading out on tour this June, presented by Artery Global. The tour kicks off June 13th in Illinois. “We couldn’t be more excited to be hitting the road with One Year Later. We’re looking forward to making new friends and fans and seeing some familiar faces along the way!”, said The Paramedic vocalist Mike Luciano.
The Paramedic just released their Bullet Tooth debut album “Smoke & Mirrors”! The metalcore album is lighting the internet on fire with polarizing talk from fans and hit #8 on the iTunes Metal Chart. Their new music video for “Eddie Would Be Proud” is streaming now at YouTube.  Intensity, emotion and raw power are three ways to describe Dayton, OH’s The Paramedic. But to pigeon hole the band with just three words would simply be an injustice to this group. Formed in late 2010 by friends Jake Nolan (Guitar), Travis Adkins (Bass), Tony Hovater (Drums), Sean Salasny (Guitar) and Mike Luciano (Lead Vocals); The Paramedic is poised to spearhead the next generation of dynamic metalcore bands, thanks in part to Luciano’s diverse R&B background. The band delivers a unique mix blending the insanity of Asking Alexandria, the electro-sensibilities of Attack Attack, and the soulfulness of Jonny Craig.

Living the dream is a philosophy that Mike Luciano and the guys thrive to live out on a daily basis and will have nothing stand in their way. Against his parents’ wishes, Luciano dropped out of college to pursue his dream of making it in the world of music. This intense internal struggle has made Luciano’s lyrics a personal one-of-a-kind statement that range from raising awareness towards rape to standing up for what you believe in. Judging by the nearly 300,000 views of their cover of Lil’ Wayne’s “6 Foot 7 Foot” on YouTube and their 50,000+ fans on Facebook, all of the hard work and life altering decisions have been worth it.

In early 2012, the bands’ dream finally came together when New Jersey based record label, Bullet Tooth, signed The Paramedic to a deal. Joining other acts such as Affiance, Serianna, Death Ray Vision and more, the band is sure to reach new audiences that they only ever dreamed about. “It’s been our dream to not only be signed to a label, but also to a label that we know and trust and with Bullet Tooth, we know we are getting just that” said vocalist Mike Luciano

The band was recently on The Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour with Dance Gavin Dance, and has been on the road consistently with Design The Skyline, With Life In Mind, and many more.

“Gracing God with the angels on his highs,  Mike’s screaming talents far

Serianna to Headline the Road To The Roots Tour

As seen on tour with Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Sleeping With Sirens, Affiance, Memphis May Fire
Serianna music videos for “Virtues” and “Lose Yourself” out now
New Serianna album “Define Me” coming Summer 2013

TAA_Serianna_WLIM2

Serianna will headline the upcoming Road To The Roots Tour with With Life In Mind, Adaliah, and Leaders. The tour kicks off June 1 and includes a stop at Rockin Roots Festival with New Found Glory and Of Mice And Men. All dates below.  Serianna guitarist Rocky Morgan commented, “Our new album ‘Define Me’ is a step in a new direction, and we are fortunate to be able to share it with all of our fans all over the country on this tour.”

Serianna just wrapped up in the studio for their new album “Define Me” with producer Josh Schroeder, who is responsible for new albums from For Today and The Color Morale. The new music is as heavy as ever and incredibly emotional as their fans have come to expect, much like their latest single “Deadweight” released on October 16, 2012. The 13 song album “Define Me” will be released early Summer 2013.

Guitarist and songwriter Kris Meyer-Ruef commented on the new album, “The Inheritors record was almost 3 years in the making by the time we had the pleasure of releasing it on Bullet Tooth. It seems only natural that at least 4 years since the birth of that record, Serianna is due for serious growth. Over the past year, we have gone through a major line up change and thought hard about the future of our band. It was pretty apparent  to any fan of our band before that we were heavily rooted in metal core, influenced by the bands that could riff the tightest and fastest. We operated like a well oiled machine, tight and uniform. But that was just the problem: we operated like a machine. This new record has given us all the opportunity to pour our hearts into our music in a way that we felt was impossible before. Every one of us has a voice, and you will hear that through every song on this record. We went heavier, groovier, darker and more honest. I know deep down that kids are still looking for something real to fall in love with. We genuinely believe these songs are just that.”

Singer and lyricist Chris Nutting also commented, “I’m so excited for the world to hear this album because every song has a catchy hook that will get stuck in your head. That has always been a huge selling point for me with the music that I listen to, and I feel that it is such an important element to have in song writing. We wanted to write an album that would not only be fun to listen to, but also be a great experience to see live. You can bounce up and down to just about every song on the record. Each one of us played a role in writing lyrics, pulling influence from past experiences. You’ll be able to relate to these lyrics in one way or another. I couldn’t be more proud of how this album came together.”

Serianna recently released their new music video for their new single “Lose Yourself“!  The song, originally by Eminem, premiered recently at AltPress.com and is available for download at iTunesAmazonSpotify, and everywhere else music is available. The music video was filmed while the guys were on tour by director and close friend Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Decoder). The video is streaming NOW on YouTube.
The debut album “Inheritors” from Serianna (Madison, WI) is available everywhere NOW!  Fans can listen to the songs “Fragments” and “Guilty Spark” at their Facebook page, and watch a live music video for “Virtues“directed by Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Decoder) from the recent Motel 6 “Rock Yourself To Sleep” Tour.  Their songs “Fragments” and “Inheritors” are also available NOW on Rock Band for Xbox 360.  The band has recently been on tour with Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Sleeping With Sirens, Affiance, Memphis May Fire, Attila, and more!

Death Ray Vision (Killswitch Engage / Shadows Fall) Launch New Song

Death Ray Vision “Get Lost Or Get Dead”
Debut 7″ Vinyl, Digipack CD, & Digital Download out May 14, 2013
Featuring Brian Fair from Shadows Fall and Mike D’Antonio from Killswitch Engage
First single “Shattered Frames” streaming at YouTube
Debut Full Length Album Produced by Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front) coming this Summer!
DeathRayVision-GLOGD-612x612
Current members of Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall and ex members of Overcast and Cannae have combined forces in the project DEATH RAY VISION. These veterans of the Boston metal scene play a raw brand of metallic hardcore that recaptures the energy of their old school hardcore roots infused with all they have learned and experienced as musicians over the past decade. The songs are short blasts of energy and intensity built on thrash metal rhythms and chugging guitar riffs.
The debut 5 song EP “Get Lost Or Get Dead” will be released May 14, 2013 on Bullet Tooth in 7″ Vinyl, Digipack CD, and digital download formats. The first song “Shattered Frames” can be streamed at YouTube! The track listing is:
1. Shattered Frames
2. Get Lost Or Get Dead
3. Not For Glory
4. Chainsaw Of Bees
5. Drown The Light
According to vocalist Brian Fair, “When Mike and I first met, we went to see Leeway and Breakdown play in Boston.  My love for raw, metallic hardcore began that day and the energy and insanity in that club is something that has stayed with me forever.”
After breaking their silence onstage at local Boston hardcore shows, DEATH RAY VISION entered Mad Oak Studio in MA with producer Benny Grotto to record their debut EP “Get Lost Or Get Dead”.  The recording, which the band self released, captured the raw energy and emotion of the band combined with a modern production, seamlessly bridging the gap between the past and future.  The sessions were the creative spark that inspired the band to continue writing and see how far they could push their sound.
“We started the band to have fun, there is really no other reason to do Death Ray Vision,” states bassist Mike D.  “Apparently we were having so much fun when we started writing for the 1st EP that we just kept writing and writing. All of a sudden, we had a crap load of tunes.”
While gathering material for a full length release, DEATH RAY VISION caught the attention of Bullet Tooth, a label that has a staff with very similar backgrounds and history in the heavy music scene as the band.  Having a label that embraces the same DIY ethic as the band was a necessity. Joining forces with Bullet Tooth was the perfect way for DEATH RAY VISION to reach a wider audience without having to sacrifice the independent spirit of the band.
Josh Grabelle and Bullet Tooth have the capacity to get our record out to more people then we can reach on our own,” explains Mike D. “It also doesn’t hurt that he is an old friend and is really excited about DRV. What more could you want?”
Grabelle is as enthusiastic about the signing as the band is. He’s known the members for years, almost signing Killswitch Engage in 2000. “I’m a huge fan of Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, and Overcast,” he said. “I first met Brian Fair in 1995 at an Overcast show in Erie, PA. I’ve been friends with Mike D for years as well.  Mike D told me he had started a new band and I already knew it was gonna be awesome, and it was! I was honored they thought of me and Bullet Tooth and I know we will knock it out of the park together.” The exclusive signing announcement and DRV interview is located at MetalInsider.com.
With their new label partnership in place, DEATH RAY VISION have recently completed tracking for the new LP with producer Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front) which will be released in the summer of 2103.
“The band is really excited to get back in the studio,” explains Fair. “These new songs have pushed our sound to a new level and we can’t wait to unleash them on the world!”
DEATH RAY VISION recalls the insanity of the old hardcore days while remaining focused on destroying the future.

NightShade Music Video for “Betrayal” Premieres at Metal Insider

NightShade is excited to release their first music video from their upcoming album “An Endless Vision“. The video for “Betrayal” is now premiering at MetalInsider.net.  While the deathcore group was filming the music video in Spain, a demonstration in Madrid turned ugly when thousands of protestors clashed with riot police. Protesting in response to the announcement of severe austerity measures, police reportedly made 22 arrests while over 32 were injured. As a result, NightShade decided to include shocking footage that shows police using violent force on protestors in the video for “Betrayal.”  This video is SERIOUSLY INTENSE!
NightShade-Betrayal-premiere
“This song ‘Betrayal’ is about how people need to open their eyes and stop being controlled by their governments. People shouldn’t be scared to take control of their own lives and make their own choices,” explains guitarist Bastien Deleule. “It’s ironic that a huge civil protest broke out in Spain while we were there shooting our music video, considering it is effectively what this song is about. Spain has over 50% unemployment and things are dire and people are angry, and we are angry too. We choose to express our anger with our music and we hope everyone loves it as much as we do! Other than being in the middle of some scary riots in Spain, we had a blast filming this video!”
France’s NightShade is set to release its most adventurous album to date on April 30, 2013. The group’s third offering, “An Endless Vision” is set to continue the outfit’s signature one part deathcore and one part Euro metal sound. Recorded at Nalcon Studios and mixed by Jason Suecof (Trivium, Devildriver, Whitechapel), “An Endless Vision” boasts a huge groovy sound but ventures into ‘djentier’ territories without straying from the band’s roots.
Producer extraordinaire Jason Suecof commented on working with NightShade, “I personally enjoyed working on this album. It completely took my face, ripped it apart, rearranged it, and sold it on the black market as food for your kids whilst desecrating my soul for all eternity.”
Originally formed by Bastien Deluele, NightShade picked up a deal with Bullet Tooth for the release of the group’s second album, “Lost In Motion,” recorded, mixed, and mastered by the world renowned Fredrik Nordström (Bring Me The Horizon, At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity). Upon the release of “Lost In Motion” NightShade completed 2 U.S. tours, a European tour, and two appearances at the prestigious Euroblast Festival in Cologne Germany in 2010 and 2012. The song “The Depths Of Memory” is available on the RockBand Network for download now.
With the mastering being handled by Alan Douches (Lacuna Coil, The Ghost Inside), “An Endless Vision” will seek to deliver crushing grooves, epic breakdowns, lush melodies, and infectious electronic soundscapes in a way that sets NightShade apart from the rest. Keep your eyes posted for the release this year!
Interviews and features on NightShade have been posted at NoiseCreep,
Alt Revolt (Page 1 & 2),
MetalUndergroundToledo Press, and the Hartford Advocate.  The band has also had some great success at metal radio with spins and coverage from CILU, KJML, KRUA, KTUH, KUPD, WAQX, WBMT, WEDG, WEOS, WIYY, WMPG, WORT, WSUP, WUPX, WXCI, WXRX, and WZOR.

NightShade c
ombines the speed of traditional metalcore, the heaviness of death metal,
and influences of modern

 electronic
music to create a unique sound that
should
catapult them onto the tips of everyone’s tongues.” –

Bullet Tooth signs The Smoking Hearts from the UK

Bullet Tooth is excited to announce the signing of The Smoking Hearts from the UK! The band will release their Bullet Tooth debut album “Victory!” this summer in North America and Japan. Playing with the likes of The Used, Asking Alexandria, Gallows, Andrew WK, and many more, The Smoking Hearts have cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting young bands in the U.K.

In fact, Jay and Moose from Bullet For My Valentine recently told the UK press, “We think everyone should check out The Smoking Hearts this year, they are good mates of ours. A brilliant band, think Motörhead on more speed beating up the Anti-Nowhere League then bumming The Ramones. Seriously, think about that. They have a new album out this year called ‘Victory!’, a definite recommendation.”

Joining the family at Bullet Tooth and having labelmates like Affiance, Throw The Fight, First Blood, Serianna, Death Ray Vision, and more, was important to the band. Calvin Roffey (Bass) commented, “I’m really excited that The Smoking Hearts have joined Bullet Tooth. It’s great that we’re able to release Victory! with a group of people that understand what we’re about as a band, and can help us reach new people that will rock out with us. Really excited to work with the people that have bought us some of of our favourite bands through the years, and together put The Smoking Hearts on the map.”

Vocalist Ben Mills also checked in, “Feels good to finally have a US home, and on such a killer label as Bullet Tooth – we had such a great time when we went to the States for SXSW and Houston we have a problem, be good to finally have a release out in the US and Japan, to give us a reason to come back.”

There is no such thing as a dull moment for The Smoking Hearts. Live shows have seen guitars smashed and drum kits sprawled across stages and it is not uncommon to find half the band playing in the crowd while singer Ben Mills is in the back of the venue, on the bar, or hanging from the rafters, all the while coercing the crowd into joining the party.

After releasing their debut album Pride of Nowhere to rave reviews from the British music press (KKKK – Kerrang!, 8/10 Rocksound, 8/10 NME), The Smoking Hearts hit the road on their first national tour to support the release, wreaking havoc throughout the U.K. and Europe.

With the release of their new album Victory! coming this summer, The Smoking Hearts are getting ready to show the world the result of those writing sessions. Once again proving that their unique blend of high-energy Rock ‘N’ Roll has the dexterity to resonate with Punk, Metal, and Hardcore crowds alike.

Recorded with Dan Weller and Justin Hill (Enter Shikari, Young Guns), and recorded over a period of four weeks in Fortress Studios, London, Victory! is an aptly titled record. Clocking in at just over the 30 minute mark, Victory! is a celebration, a testament to The Smoking Hearts’ DIY/ ‘never say die’ approach to life on stage and off. Featuring guest backing vocals from over 40 of the band’s friends, Victory! is a party of an album, the soundtrack to every good night out.

The past 18 months have seen The Smoking Hearts go from their bedrooms, to clubs throughout the U.K. and Europe, destroy down in Australia as part of Soundwave Festival and even wreak havoc in the United States. Now, with the release of their new album, The Smoking Hearts intend on celebrating their victory worldwide.

Stay tuned for new music, videos, tour dates and more from The Smoking Hearts! Catch the band LIVE this coming weekend (February 10) at The Grand Hall 2 in Cardiff, UK with Bullet For My Valentine.

Serianna hit the studio with producer Josh Schroeder for new album “Define Me”

Serianna are currently in the studio working on their new album “Define Me” with producer Josh Schroeder, who is responsible for new albums from For Today and The Color Morale. The new music is as heavy as ever and incredibly emotional as their fans have come to expect, much like their latest single “Deadweight” released on October 16, 2012. The new album will be wrapped up in February and will be released early Summer 2013.

Guitarist and songwriter Kris Meyer-Ruef checked in from the studio, “The Inheritors record was almost 3 years in the making by the time we had the pleasure of releasing it on Bullet Tooth.

Serianna recently released their new music video for their new single “Lose Yourself”! The song, originally by Eminem, premiered recently at AltPress.com and is available for download at iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and everywhere else music is available. The music video was filmed while the guys were on tour by director and close friend Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Decoder). The video is streaming NOW on YouTube.

The debut album “Inheritors” from Serianna (Madison, WI) is available everywhere NOW. Fans can listen to the songs “Fragments” and “Guilty Spark” at their Facebook page, and watch a live music video for “Virtues” directed by Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Decoder) from the recent Motel 6 “Rock Yourself To Sleep” Tour. Their songs “Fragments” and “Inheritors” are also available NOW on Rock Band for Xbox 360. The band has recently been on tour with Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Sleeping With Sirens, Affiance, Memphis May Fire, Attila, and more.

NightShade to release new album “An Endless Vision”

France’s NightShade is set to release its most adventurous album to date in 2013.

Interviews and features on NightShade have been posted at NoiseCreep, Highwire Daze, Alt Revolt (Page 1 & 2), MetalUnderground, Toledo Press, and the Hartford Advocate. The band has also had some great success at metal radio with spins and coverage from CILU, KJML, KRUA, KTUH, KUPD, WAQX, WBMT, WEDG, WEOS, WIYY, WMPG, WORT, WSUP, WUPX, WXCI, WXRX, and WZOR.

“NightShade combines the speed of traditional metalcore, the heaviness of death metal,
and influences of modern electronic music to create a unique sound that
should catapult them onto the tips of everyone’s tongues.” – KillerTours

Affiance launch music video for “Kings Of Deceit” / New album “The Campaign” out Nov 13/ Live in Pittsburgh 12/12

Affiance (Cleveland, OH) are excited to show the world their first music video off their upcoming album “The Campaign”! The video is for the opening track “Kings Of Deceit” and shows the band performing as well as newsworthy moments from the last few decades. The song also features Dustin Davidson from August Burns Red (courtesy of Solid State) who gives a great vocal performance!

“We were really excited to do a serious and dark video since our biggest video is us running around in our pajamas and playing a video game. This video is for the first track on the album and we wanted to start ‘The Campaign’ off by calling out the media and the powerful who orchestrate and manipulate the biggest events throughout modern history. It also shows a different side of us than our ‘Call To The Warrior’ video. You know us as easy going, good time dudes, but we are also dead serious about making positive change in the world around us.” – Dennis Tvrdik (Vocals)

Hot off the heels of their newest single “You WIll Be Replaced”, the band is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated full length album “The Campaign” due out on Bullet Tooth on November 13, 2012. The album was produced by Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio who has recently finished records for August Burns Red, Texas In July, and more! The new song is an absolute behemoth (and hit #6 on the iTunes Metal Chart!) and will no doubt hold fans over until their sophomore album “The Campaign” is released. The new song “You WIll Be Replaced” can be downloaded at iTunes, Amazon, LastFM, eMusic and Rhapsody, and streamed at Spotify!

Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented on the upcoming album, “The Campaign is multiple levels above No Secret Revealed in every area. The vocals, the drums, the guitars, the recording quality, the song structure, the variety… We couldn’t be happier or more confident with a sophomore album. It almost feels like we skipped a release between the two albums! There is not a doubt in my mind that this will be a game changer for us and will open many doors to opportunities otherwise closed off from us.”

Affiance recently appeared AS A CARTOON (yes, a cartoon) in a new interview with South Africa’s MK Ondergrond! The interview appeared on national SA television but can be seen on YouTube along with recent interviews with In Flames and The Used. Singer Dennis Tvrdik talks about their hometown of Cleveland, the metal and hardcore scenes, touring, music videos, and more. Check it out!

The guys launched their new music video for “Nostra Culpa” this Spring and it is available on YouTube! The video showcases the band doing what they do best, and that is performing LIVE. Check them out in front of a packed headlining set at Peabody’s in their hometown of Cleveland! Of course if you haven’t seen their groundbreaking music video for “Call To The Warrior” (650,000+ views), you need to watch it immediately!

The Paramedic Debut Album “Smoke & Mirrors” Out Now

The Paramedic are excited to release their Bullet Tooth debut “Smoke & Mirrors” TODAY! The metalcore album is lighting the internet on fire with polarizing talk from fans and is currently sitting at #8 on the iTunes Metal Chart.

Judging by the nearly 300,000 views of their cover of Lil’ Wayne’s “6 Foot 7 Foot” on YouTube and their 50,000 fans on Facebook, all of the hard work and life altering decisions have been worth it.

“It’s been our dream to not only be signed to a label, but also to a label that we know and trust and with Bullet Tooth, we know we are getting just that” said vocalist Mike Luciano.

The band is preparing for bigger tour dates (to be announced soon!) and Luciano goes on to say “We could have never done this without the help of a reputable label and now that we have the backing of an amazing label, we plan on making nothing but the best for our fans. We cannot wait to see what the future holds”.
