August Burns Red Headline Tour in Pittsburgh on Nov 2

Billboard Top 10 metalcore act August Burns Red has announced dates for an upcoming national fall headline tour which kicks off November 1 in Philadelphia, PA and runs through December 15 in Lancaster,PA. Lending support will be Blessthefall, Defeater and Beartooth.

Fans can purchase tickets and premium bundles including t-shirts, hats, dog tags, posters and more now through SHOWstubs.com/abr. The public on sale date for tickets is Friday, August 23rd starting at 10AMlocal time (check local listings as times may vary).

The Lancaster, PA rock outfit will be out in support of their fifth studio LP, Rescue & Restore (Solid State), which debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 last month. This impressive feat improves upon the #11 debut of the album’s predecessor, 2011’s Leveler.

Rescue & Restore is a colossal effort which turns a critical eye to the oft-maligned genre of metalcore, leading by example to prove that bands can still find exciting new ways to expand the genre without simply falling into repetitive trappings.

In its review of the new LP, Alternative Press notes, “Now a decade into their career, August Burns Red have stated they are on a mission to revive metalcore from its self-induced coma of conformity, and their latest puts the band’s music where their collective mouth is. An immediately impressive work of skill and creativity well-removed from the rehashed riffs and tired scream-sing antics that plague the genre, Rescue is a bold step forward for both the band and anyone attempting to follow it.”

“Rescue & Restore is about challenging other bands and ourselves, as well as fans of this music, to want more than whatever happens to be the current buzz,” explains guitarist and principal songwriter JB Brubaker.

Since launching out of Manheim, PA, the industrious outfit has successfully transitioned from shake-up-the-field upstarts to one of the biggest names worldwide in the genre. On stages across the U.S. to Europe, Japan, Australia, South America and more, from renowned fests such as UK’s Download Festival to the Warped Tour, which they joined again in 2013 as a mainstage act, AUGUST BURNS RED have spent years taking their music and message directly to fans, and in the process have grown into one of the leading forces in the modern metal scene.

BEARTOOTH TO SUPPORT AUGUST BURNS RED 11/2 @ALTAR BAR

Beartooth, the new metalcore band of former Attack Attack! frontman Caleb Shomo, will hit the road with August Burns Red, Blessthefall and Defeater this Fall for a full 39 date U.S. tour! The band released their EP “Sick” earlier this year and are currently signed to Red Bull Records.

For a free download of the new EP and more information about the tour, visit: www.bearthoothband.com.

Along with Shomo, Beartooth is guitarist Taylor Lumley, bassist Nick Reed and drummer Brandon Mullins. After parting ways with Attack Attack!, Shomo produced and executed vocals, guitar, bass, drums and programming in his Ohio home studio for the entire EP and now has assembled some of his Midwest crew to form the live incarnation of the rapidly ascending outfit, putting a physical personification to the music rattling around inside Shomo’s head.

Crossfaith Announces New EP

Japan – November 2006. CROSSFAITH are born.

Unique in their home country of Japan, CROSSFAITH combine metalcore, hardcore, samples and electronica to create groundbreaking music that transcends genres. Their 2009 debut album ‘The Artificial Theory For The Dramatic Beauty’ (Zestone Records) served as the catalyst which kick-started the Japanese screamo / metalcore scene and they have been at the top of their game ever since.

It didn’t take long for the bug to catch – soon after their debut release the band found themselves opening for a diverse set of acts such as Machine Head, Hatebreed, August burns Red, Piece The Veil, blessthefall and Alesana to name but a few before playing to thousands of fans at the prestigious Loud Park Festival in Japan.2010 saw the phenomenon spread west – ‘The Artificial Theory…’ received a European release on Gan-Shin records and was met with critical acclaim throughout. With an unstoppable work ethic the band hit the studio to record their sophomore release ‘The Dream, The Space’ with producer Andrew Wade (who’s credits include A Day To Remember). Released in Japan in April 2011, the band took to the road to promote the record, playing to 10,000 fans at Summer Sonic festival which helped garner interest from infamous US label Tragic Hero. Soon the band toured outside of Japan for the first time, opening for Parkway Drive across China and Alesana in South Asia.

After blowing crowds away on their debut UK tour in support of ‘Of Mice & Men’, the band return to the UK on November 10th as part of the Vans Warped Tour at London’s Alexandra Palace – while in the meantime making their mark in the rest of the World.

Crossfaith now prepare to release their brand new ‘Zion’ EP Worldwide.

Recorded with the legendary ‘Machine’ (Lamb of God/Everytime I Die/Four Year Strong) in New York; ‘Zion’ features 6 tracks of breakneck, electro-infused energy and invention.

Lead track ‘Monolith’ has already got fans salivating, with BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Zane Lowe proclaiming the track as his ‘next hype’.

BLESSTHEFALL PREMIERES “40 DAYS” MUSIC VIDEO VIA KERRANG! MAGAZINE

blessthefall has premiered their music video for single “40 Days” today with Kerrang! Magazine.

The new video, which was first revealed by ESPGuitars, offers the band’s take on a zombie film, featuring lead singer Beau Bokan returning from his grave.

“After waiting around for several months for the new season of The Walking Dead to start back up we decided to take matters into our own hands and make our very own zombie flick, with a Blessthefall twist” explains lead singer, Beau Bokan. “As many of our fans know we dont take ourselves too seriously, so we of course added a proper dose of BTF comedic value. The video was a blast to film and we even added a very special female guest zombie at the end. Hope you love this music video as much as we do and remember…you dont always live just once.”

To follow a successful summer on the Vans Warped Tour, the Phoenix, AZ quintet is currently overseas in the UK on the Never Say Die Tour with We Came As Romans and Stick To Your Guns, and have recently announced their North American headline tour, including support from A Skylit Drive, At The Skylines, and Skip The Foreplay.

“We are really excited to get back out on the road and headline!” comments guitarist Eric Lambert. “Can’t wait to shred Canada and the United States again!”

To follow up a successful summer on the Vans Warped Tour, the band is currently gearing up to invade the UK on the Never Say Die Tour with We Came As Romans and Stick To Your Guns.
