Slipknot to Release Greatest Hits but Nothing New…Yet

While we patiently await the return of Slipknot to Pittsburgh on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival July 28- it appears that we will have to be patient for any new material from the band. The next release from Slipknot will be ‘Antennas to Hell‘ slated for release July 17. According to singer Corey Taylor via Twitter, “11 days till the meaning of HoGaB is revealed. And I believe 7.17.12 is when the Slipknot greatest hits album drops.
To anyone asking, Slipknot is not currently working on an album. Yet. We are putting together demos, but we’re not recording. Yet.”

Sounds promising there will be new material at some point. The question, as always, is when.

No news (yet) on tracks for the greatest hits pacakage. Stay tuned to Pittsburgh Music Magazine for more as soon as it is released and look for us at Mayhem on July 28 (free PMM tees? Hmm…)
